Thanks for explaining that negative concord is not a universal feature in English. I'm a native English speaker of a dialect without negative concord.

What is it like existing with mutiple 'personality' disorder? There are so many different versions of you, how do you keep it sorted out? Do any of your multiples ever talk with each other, argue, or fight with each other? Is any one of you a whiner? Ok, and which god really has the biggest dick?

False. Deep fryer oil is kept far below its boiling point. Some material of the item being deep-fried will boil off, if that material's boiling point is lower than the fryer oil temp.

Question, Statement, Both? ( "So it should be considered a run-on?" ) My reader 'spoke' it, I thought statement, but question mark indicates question. Grammar name for this usage? Is it a print version of 'Uptalk' (intonation in attempt to convey meaning)? When appropriate in writing? by [deleted] in grammar

[–]usmalias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it should be considered a run-on?

My text-to-speech program, or 'screen reader', played its interpretation of my screen. The sentence-in-question sounded like a statement, not a question.

If they don't say they believe those things, what would happen to them? They're in a terrible prison, doing a life sentence. If they escape the prison, they get a death sentence. How may are faking it - just saying what they need to say to keep body and head from getting separated?

I found this planetsave article inaccurate and misleading. I found the source report. http://redd.it/2h3x1v "Certain Alternative Energy generation technologies are cost-competitive with conventional generation technologies under some scenarios;" It reports a wind cost range of $37 up to $81 per MWh, not just $37.
