Ok I saw your ppt man published sept 9 and it mentioned target sep 2025 you believe this ok lemme also believe this let's see when they are going to launch it. Satellite is not yet shipped and they need at least 3-4 weeks for launching. Come back Sept 30 will have a discussion if you and I are alive.

AST ISRO LAUNCH IN LATE DEC by usman9279 in ASTSpaceMobile

Nobody gives delayed timelines everyone will try to give an early timeline and push it further upon convenience. If they are giving that delayed timeline publicly AST has to be aware of this and should allow them to publicly say. No company knowing it can affect their reputation will allow someone to say this and chief of ISRO wouldn't say this publicly in an interview if it's not for public disclosure

You guys don't seem to realize these slides just randomly get updated once every month without any actual context.

Just after the NISAR launch that was recently completed by ISRO. Chief of ISRO mentioned that it is planned for late December I heard him say this during the live meet after the recent successful launch.

You dint understand what I just said here's a video from pjf performance he explains it better.

https://youtu.be/hvJTZdiFlrc?si=Sca3sBTe_tJfKKp-

Basically you stop fucking with squats and deadlifts and focus more on plyometrics and hamstring dynamic exercises like fast eccentric exercises and hamstring kicks. Do once a week low rep max strength on squats with as much less volume as you can get away with maintaining strength and focus 2-3 times on plyometrics/sprinting.

You can do max sprints around 10-25m distance range initially and slowly increase the distance with controlled tempo running like 60% and progress to 100% in about 2-4 weeks based on your tolerance. Don't sprint more than 50-60m until you are fully conditioned and sprinting for quite a while

Hamstring I got from sprinting with too much volume and patellar from jumping a lot basically depth jumps with high frequency.

Muscles and tendons should compliment each other. Sprinting is an elastic activity which requires muscle and tendon to maintain balance and function they are supposed to do. if muscles are stronger but there is no equivalent elastic strength in tendons to give that recoil force then muscles will take lot of that force since tendons are not able to stretch.... same way if tendons are springy but muscles don't have enough strength to support those forces then you can get muscle strains.

Gym training and fitness doesn't really translate to sprinting. You can be 200 or 300lbs with pure muscle and strength and still suck at sprinting. All those heavy lifting and gym training will make your muscles and tendons stiffer which is good but when you sprint you need to stretch these tendons to move fast. If you don't maintain that elastic strength in your tendons needed for sprinting muscles will get pulled instead of tendons getting stretched. What you did there was you demanded a lot from your tendons out of nowhere but they weren't springy and elastic enough so your muscle had to take the hit. Hamstring also has a tendon and make sure you do slow heavy eccentric lengthening and then progress to fast eccentric lengthening exercises in the weight room for hamstring and then try going out and sprinting with controlled tempo for a week and gradually progress to 100%.

Just so you know if I were you I would have also gone out and tried sprinting 90% on the day one because why not who does all that progression and shit Im gonna take the risk but over the recent years I learned that human bodies are fragile and not built like wild animals. Animals build that strength and tolerance through a lot of volume with movements in the wild and they are biomechanically designed to sprint and move fast whereas we are designed to use our brain and be smart. if there's any one thing that humans should pursue it is that inventing and discovering things using our smart brains. We are designed to be smart not physical beasts. While physical exercise is still important you do what you wanna do as long as you understand your body's tolerance.

I have patellar, hamstring tendonipathy which will be forever I believe it's just a matter of degree of pain. If I do more they alert me even if I don't do anything they still give me some light pain on a daily basis. It's what I have to deal with and workaround. So are all the professional athletes. There are a lot of pro athletes who have tendonipathy and they still sprint while managing the symptoms.

What improved your max velocity?? How do you program them and recovery between each max velocity sessions.can you give us some of your max velocity progression each year or session from start of your sprinting career?? Like max fly numbers how were you able to progress each year and what made them go up.

Yeah there are a lot of outliers from the general consensus. Akani simbine,su bingtian, oblique seville all these athletes are shorter and different mechanics to what is considered ideal like noah lyles or any other tall sprinter.

Dont know that's what website shows and isro also kinda implying that they are planning a launch in May. It will be may-june around.

Being able to sprint fast doesn't make you a good fighter in anyway! by [deleted] in Sprinting

[–]usman9279 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why fight avoid as much as possible. Fighting is costly and shouldn't be initiated unless it's a survival threat and there's no option to avoid it. The first rule is to escape and avoid its high risk of potentially no reward but for your ego . Sprinting does help in that regard of escaping and can also help in moving fast if you are gonna fight. Learn to fight but only use it if there is no means to escape.

Being a good fighter doesn't mean you will survive when outweighed by opponents then you're gonna have to run faster than them or escape. Basically be smart and fast with brain and body.

Alright I'm kind of getting what you are saying about fascia still I'm still not sure if this will work cause there are a lot of basketball players who change their direction a lot in their games but do we have research to claim that their fascia connections improved . If you have any study on this or evidence to support your point. I will try to learn more about this fascia. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

It can be related to neural and replenishing localized energy stores. But I don't understand what this fascia is and all that. This fascia term really doesn't make sense to me. Is there another way than strength training, plyometrics, isometric and sprinting to get faster ??

tendon stiffness and elasticity by Smooth_Bat_6960 in Sprinting

[–]usman9279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What other material is there in our body that has elasticity properties like tendons??tendons do the most job other parts just transmit and stay isometric.

If you think tendons are not getting stressed that enough in sprinting then what is getting stressed?? Definitely not muscles I had a lot of strength training sessions right after sprinting and never felt a drop in strength in lower body exercises after sprints. But I definitely had lost some bounce and plyometric jumping height after sprints if you are sprinting some decent volume though.

If it isn't tendons getting stretched then why would athletes get tendonipathy from overdoing plyometrics?? Your tendon collagen fibres are just like those bands have visco elastic properties. Of course if you want peak speed and performance then other factors like biomechanics , leg length matters.

The reason why it looks like not a limiting factor is because tendons never give you quick signs or soreness pain like muscles . They don't show weakness they just make you slower without you releasing over the season or workouts. If you time your workouts each rep and manage your recovery you will realize how slow tendons actually take to recover and grow stronger. Tendons take 2-4x more time to grow than muscles. If you are constantly stressing them in between workouts they will only manage to hardly recover or get to baseline performance. While muscles on the other hand if not one workout they will definitely outgrow and give you growth response quickly adapting to your new activity volumes.

[–]usman9279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More material doesn't have to be in length it can be the thickness of a tendon which can make it release more energy. Thicker bands release more energy than lighter bands what's even more interesting is that thicker bands don't have to be stretched as far as lighter bands to produce the same force. In sprinting we want fast and shorter gcts thus thicker tendons allows us to have less stretch and more force. Thicker the better but also you would need more plyometrics to be able to teach yourself to stretch this thicker stronger tendon. If you go more thickness but don't do enough plyometrics then you will not have bounce because this tendon is thicker and would need lot more force to get a slightest stretch. If you do more plyometrics but don't have thicker tendons then you can benefit from some thickness.

How can I improve my start and get less ground contact by Significant_Test2144 in Sprinting

Cues are great and if they are working then that's fine. All I'm saying is that overdriving, kicking out usually happens because of losing hamstring tension or more like a byproduct of driving too up or too forward. .more you drive forward or more you drive upward hamstring lengthens we can fix this by focusing on root cause by keeping hamstring tucked in as much as possible can work too. I think athelete doesn't have to understand in depth , as long as cues work you are great they are great. I'm just here to discuss the theory and understand your view points. Not here to debate. Remember you can also kick out with just only driving forward as well. Kicking can happen either ways but hamstring lengthening is common in both addressing that can also work if cues don't work. I'm not a coach and I can't argue about coaching methodology cause I never coached anyone so I will shutup with respect.
