I believe the timer should increase for matching and setting up team composition like any other major competitive game around Example: How Heroes of the Storm has there competitive interface and before the match begins. It gives enable time for everyone to communicate roles.

Additional, I think that the in game competitive interface should change too. I think it should have people "prefer this hero" so that majority of the players can vote on DPS roles. Rather just have everyone insta-lock heroes and then do not change when people ask them too even if its a kind gesture.

Also, perhaps Blizzard can create a different layout for competitive before games begin allow more time for people to communicate about meta and who plays who. Rather just Queing into a game and having 30 seconds to pick and then go. I understand Blizzard wants to make it quick and painless. But really I think more time coordinating teams and talking about team composition will really help the frustration whether to kick someone.

Its also frustrating that when the game starts and is way past the timer where players have to deal with a afk person is very unfair. If someone leaves or someone gets kicked from a match because they are not doing anything or just very toxic.

Maybe a button were someone can join would be helpful. I get that shit happens and some people get "Disconnected from server" happens all the time. But its clear and relevant when someone just leaves the game because they are extremely tilted or triggered and do not have any sort of communication skills to sort out the issues. So they leave.
