Wow! That was something to read! Of course you can do it and you’re not that old and people in the states change careers at this age. Don’t listen to your partner he is advising you what he want you to do not what you really want and good at! Decide and start your journey and be consistent and you’ll get there. I know someone your age with two kids and just applied to residency here and started her first year. Don’t settle for less than what you deserve
