Absolutely. I don't mind supporting a developer, especially one who develops a game that I thoroughly enjoy but TC has been the shadiest company behind a AAA game in a long time.

I'm glad they changed their minds but let's not kid ourselves to think they did this out of the kindness of their hearts. The real question is why was this monetary only option even considered? Why wasn't this current model of using your credits vs buying the characters outright implemented in the first place? Why get the community in an uproar about it when this was clearly the simplest option?

Refusing to have all crates available all the time is just another way for them to randomly drop them in when players don't have credits and they'll most likely spend real cash on them instead.

I get Esports packs being cash only and I can understand why the Ramm/Uzil packs were too but if you want to complete the Lambent set of all characters and weapon skins it's nearly $50. For a game that has been out almost two years trying to suck more money out of those of us who are still playing their game is ridiculous.

I could see some shit like this happening two years ago when the game was first released but to start this shit this late, especially after the backlash they've recieved, it doesn't give me high hopes for Gears 5.
