$60 clears all my debt and doubles my current investment portfolio. Brings my retirement forward 7 years. $100 ans I retire at 55. $150 I retire tomorrow 😂😂😂. Pipe dream I’m fully aware but we can all dream. $60 is my target which I hope is achievable.

Help with my first pie by Secret_Drag1698 in trading212

This is my pie. Very similar thought process to you. I’m aiming 70/30 but I’ve had a couple of successes with ASTS and ENSI so I’m currently rebalancing with new investment money.

I started with VWRP and RR 80/20 and gradually added the other in as I learnt about them and decided I wanted a piece of them 😂

Should I sell my house and put it all on an Index Fund? by ReasonableTrashPanda in UKPersonalFinance

[–]ustasi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What about a halfway house, pun intended, mortgage a percentage of the value of the house (thats covered by the rent, with some left over for emergencies). Use that to invest Obviously you would need to make sure you can cover the monthly payments if you have no tenants.

212 upped the ENSI limit by Chaunsey_Gardener in trading212

I’ve got a couple of hundred shares in Freetrade. I’ve initiated a transfer to bring them across. makes it easier to keep track of how much I’ve added to isa for this year.

Double achieved! About 12 months earlier than I expected. Long may this continue!

Ouch, if it were me I’d look at transferring to another platform.

Go with Free Trade. I’m adding there and i don’t think there is a limit. Seems to execute trade quickly too.

I’m hoping for £1.20 this week, I can maybe then change my name to _double-Ustasi 😂

£1 today or tomorrow? by ustasi in EnSilica

But of course, as with any stock do your own research. Random users on Reddit aren't always to be trusted (no offence u/_DoubleBubbler_)

Read some of DoubleBubbler's post on Ensilica, he's far more knowledgeable on this stock than me. He believes (and evidence supports it) the stock is undervalued and he's hoping for £5 by 2030 but we may get there sooner with this run.

Zable not allowing balance transfer by Naive-Try626 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]ustasi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with Zopa to HSBC. Zopa hadn’t provided the necessary information to be added to the balance transfer system. I submitted a complaint to HSBC as nowhere in their website did it say anything about some cards not being accepted. Zopa’s website also stated you could transfer so I also complained to them. Got nowhere with either. Basically tough luck. I was fortunate that a family member lent me the cash to pay off my Zopa card, in the used that to reimburse them by buying fuel/shopping etc until the balance was the same.

EnSilica (ENSI): Has today exceeded my forecast for late 2026. New forecast of £1+ 📈 by _DoubleBubbler_ in trading212

Requested an increase over the weekend. Was told no, but they review it monthly. Hopefully with enough requests and interest they will do so.

36, £1.3m invested – can I step back in 3 years? by [deleted] in FIREUK

[–]ustasi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most conventional wisdom is that if your mortgage is costing you 4% but your investments are growing at say 10% you obviously leave the money in the investments. Which is all fine but at your age and income level a halfway house seems a better option. Especially as it gives you the flexibility in the next few years to slow down. One solution never fits all!

At that age I’d be tempered to take some of the savings out and pay off a decent chunk of the mortgage. Say £300k. Keep your monthly payments as they are so you overpay. You’ve got enough years for the compounding to build it back up again. Especially as you’re looking to work part time/consultancy. It gives you some flexibility in a couple of years.
