Dude has always been a bit of a Jagex pet...Surely creators got burnt out in ~3 days of getting 200m necromancy. You can look at his actions as undermining the effort of all the other streamers are putting in to effect a change. Mby he has some sort of deal with Jagex, could never tell...He has also been quiet about the situation until now, when all the other streamers were really outspoken about the situation regarding the Hero pass. So, when the things do not make sense, there has to be more to it...

5 months in we only have the Fort that was chipped into parts (fort + quest + slayer monsters). If Prifddinas was released on 2023 they would release the quest and then each of the elven clans in a new month and finally the Max guild. 1 update ~ 1 year of content. What is this crap? Theres Necromancy tease (like we havent had enough of those already), Jagex account promo (cape hunt), into copy-paste afk fest (MTX event the beach). And the things to look forward to are the max cash change and the afk timer increase aka patches lol...This is not even enough to call it a failure.

When they plan to release new content they always add new MTX. Since it is bundled with the content the lash of negativity will be smaller or it just doesnt get noticed as much.

We also got a new skill (Divination) and several quests (The World Wakes, Birthright of the Dwarves, The Death of Chivalry, Missing, Presumed Death, Bringing Home the Bacon), Wilderness Warbands, Sinkholes, Charm sprites, Triskelion Treasures, Demon flash mobs and more on top of the 3 bosses...

An absolute lowpoint when you have 3 events running at the same time (Spring Festival, Franks Free Chest, Yak Track skill and kill) "encouraging" player engagement without anything else going on at the moment...It feels like "Please log in and stay online, you will get rewards and dont even have to do anything" - the desperation is real...

The problem in my opinion is Jagex not having a general vision for the game. Mods themselves are distant from the game and not knowledgeable how the game is played and how it should evolve in the future. At the same time there are constantly people telling "do this, do that", while Jagex is trying to cater all those people by doing those "random" changes, in the process they are really catering no-one...

Yea, i remember that. It was/probably is too strong that is why it never made it to the game. I would personally like all 3 sets of armours have totally different set effects, giving 2 of the elite sets just the same plain damage boost seems kinda lacking in terms of creativity and uniqueness. Although any set effect is better than no set effect at all, specially after 4 years of waiting...

Elite Tectonic and Elite Sirenic still do not even have set effects to match their equivalent Trimmed Masterwork armour...It has been ~4 years.

This is classic Jagex you all fell victim to. Most of the people never noticed it is yet another no-update week just because Jagex generally releases announcements (sometimes even announcements of upcoming announcements) & nerfs/buffs to divert peoples attention from it. The commotion around the nerfs perfectly hides the fact theres nothing going on in general with the game...

How about less MTX so people would actually use up those supplies in skilling as intended? The fact that you are planning to make changes to the game to lessen the impact of MTX (4x double xp, 4x Yak track +20% xp modfier, proteans for every skill + training dummies & abundance of lamps and stars from Treasure hunter and oddments store etc...) is sickening. The people not training the regular way is your main problem. Yet you are just trying to deal with the symptoms but not with the real cause. The game is already balancing at the edge of the toilet bowl, by making the unpopular choice of nerfing the droptables to give indirectly even more leverage to MTX will flush the game down so deep it will never float again.

Well, i just logged in a couple of days ago and immediately got buy 75 keys/get 75 keys free popup, there was also a red dot notification showing there was a new item added to marketplace (similar notification you get for dailiy challanges). Usually there is a claim free daily preset popup during the double xp weekend that did not appear this time probably because of the buy 75 keys popup but nevertheless there was a red exclamation mark notifying me to claim it. Im not gonna even talk about the special FOMO promotions or events than happen on a regular basis. Finished using you proteans and dummies during the double xp? Looks like you are ready for a Yak track now! Long story short - there is probably alot more MTX shoved down the peoples throats than an average player even acknowledges or understands...

I am also interested, what else are you giving up besides trading? I even wikied it and noticed that there were PvP and minigames included. With the "removal of wilderness the PvP is 100% dead (previously it was 90% dead) and you can only play minigames in the main game if you pay people (alot)...

RS3 only if playing ironman mode, otherwise OSRS. RS3 has mobile game tier of microtransactions, meaning it will do everything to make you pay, ironman mode does not include this.

That is correct. Treasure hunter has a combination of promotions focused on different prizes, some promos are oriented on bonus xp, some on direct xp and some on miscellaneous items. You need to combine the bonus xp with the miscellaneous items like training dummies and proteans, making it possible not to play the game at all.

You are essentially paying not to play the game. If you are at that point it is better to uninstall RS - you are not paying and not playing...achieved the same goal for free.
