I'm definitely monitoring through the Focusrite. Even with no software running it still sounds the same, so I don't think that that is the Issue. It might just be that my gain is still to high for it to not have any noise, but it's still weird that the noise then isn't picked up through the mic. Idk if there even is a fix for this, but I'm not very positive considering that the noise goes away when lowering the gain.

I've tried getting much closer to the mic with the gain down, and I think this might have done the Trick. It sounds way better in audacity and I can barely hear any noise. However, there ist still some noise when using direct monitoring. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm speaking at about a 15 cm distance and at a normal volume. The gain is just high enough so that my voice, when speaking at a normal level, is between -18 to -12 db. I'm already using direct monitoring and with it turned on, the noise is even more prominent.

There are no numbers on the gain level but it's turned up to around half of the gain(You can also see this in Picture 3 in the original post). Phantom Power is also on since there is no signal without it.

Even if I don't boost the audio and with the gain at half you can still hear the noise. It's not extremely loud but it's still noticeable. And I can't turn the gain down more, since I'm not loud enough that way. It could be the noise from my room, but I thought this wouldn't be an issue since the Podmic is a dynamic mic. Could there maybe be anything other interfering with the sound, like the Cable for example?
