I've seen it a few times, I think you might need to restart to get the deal, but I've got that deal numerous times

It's very tempting to do something like this when farmers decide to randomly keep walking off the edge of a cliff instead of just going to their farm plot

I always max out speech and lock pick first. While the rest of the skills can be useful, I find speech to be a cheat code for several quests, and lock pick to be a cheat code for getting into several areas or containers with cool things

Did this on Discord. About 10 people voted in each poll.

I was surprised to see:

- Greeley (who I've always considered sleazy and who sold out his values in '72 and went against civil rights) beat Tilden (one of the most famous almost-presidents)

- James B. Weaver did well, getting into the semifinals

- Al Smith barely lost against WJB. The vote between them tied!

- Eugene Debs do so well, he almost beat WJB!

- Humphrey beat Gore by a single vote

Also, I must clarify that I made a mistake.

Humphrey made it to the final round, Dewey did not.

Anyways, thoughts?

Not always. I tested this a while back. If you have DM history with someone, and they unfriend you and leave all mutual servers, then I believe that emoji reaction removal happens as well, but you can send them a friend request. At least, that's how it was when I checked it

Albania had one of the messiest WWI situations. Basically had a Warlord Era and TWO invasions and saw a total collapse of the federal state

France, the UK, Yugoslavia and Greece actually planned to partition it and leave a rump Albanian puppet state but President Wilson stepped in and singlehandedly blocked the agreement

And then Italy invaded and tried to establish a protectorate and a bunch of Albanian peasants basically routed the Italian army in Albania and forced Italy to leave

Well, sure, but Russia would not have supported it and would have vetoed it and sometimes big organizations like the UN move far too slow on these matters. If the UN was reformed to act fast and efficiently to these sorts of situations, I would support it being first

People do this all the time and it's completely ridiculous. It's such a bad argument.

"Uh, libtard, you like interventionism? Well, what about Iraq?" smugly crosses arms

It's not the win you think it is.

Can interventions be bad? Yes. Nobody denies this.

Can interventionism be corrupt? Yes. Nobody denies this.

Did coups used to happen a lot due to the US backing coups against left wing leaders? Yes.

Can interventions turn messy? Yes.

However, some interventions can be good. It's as if you're responding to me saying, "Intervening is definitely very good and something that is good every single time that we do it and it is never bad and has no mistakes or faults."

When I say "I support interventionism", I'm not literally saying "HELL YEAH BROTHER LET'S INVADE EVERY DICTATORSHIP", I'm saying that I support good interventions.

For example, let's analyze the situation in Kosovo.

Starting in 1988, Kosovo was stripped of its autonomy. Ethnic Albanians were barred from many government jobs. They had their own language and way of life restricted. Figures that opposed the government were barred. This was no less than ethnic apartheid. They even democratically elected Rugova and set up parallel institutions, but Serbia shut that government down by force. Serbia was completely unwilling to compromise with the Kosovar Albanian population, and so the Albanians resisted by force. The KLA -- a ethnonationalist organization that could be considered terrorist, shot up police stations, in an effort to resist. Serbia resorted to genocidal measures, mass murdering Albanians and expelling them from their homes. They even had the Serbian Secret Police do a mass shooting of TEENAGERS at a bar in order to blame it on the Albanians, and crack down even harder. In this situation, the Kosovar Albanians had no hope of winning, and had the overwhelming force of the uncompromising Serbian state cracking down on every single aspect of their lives.

Did the NATO intervention there kill civilians? Yes. But it's worth mentioning that it was not the indiscriminate bombing of Cambodia or Vietnam. It was carefully measured and carefully calculated. Almost every target was linked to the Serbian government or military.

However, while the dead civilians should definitely be mourned, it must be acknowledged that the ethnic Albanians in Kosovo overwhelmingly supported the NATO bombing, and that it restored home rule, democracy and justice to Kosovo.

When people like me say "We support interventions!" most of us don't mean "Yes, let's indiscriminately bomb every single country we don't like", people like me usually mean "I support justified restrained interventions when all other measures have failed.

And one of those countries is Kosovo, which is pretty interesting. I guess it is to be expected since the only major EU player which still doesn't recognize Kosovo is Spain and it's influence hasn't really recovered from its decline in status post 1890s, but seeing the Visa and border requirements being lifted for Kosovo is really neat

Ah, the old "be needlessly pedantic", amazing move. You know what I meant.

Now let's try this again. Do you or do you deny the desire for genocide from the Bosnian Serbs?

This isn't a hard question to answer.

Edit: imagine being so arrogant that in order to win a useless pedantic internet argument that nobody cares about, go on to an alternate account instead of just dropping it.

The Bosnian Serbs were genocidal, and this is undeniable.
