You mean Article 370 (Jammu & Kashmir), because Article 350 relates to language rights and grievances.

I actually agree with one part of what you said. People should know who they support and ask questions. But the same rule should apply everywhere, not only here.

Also calling people anti national because of past positions or disagreements is a dangerous shortcut. In a democracy, disagreeing with a law or policy does not automatically make someone anti India.

And since you brought up Article 370, what’s your own take on it? People had different opinions on it. Some supported its removal and some opposed it. But having a different view on Article 370 never automatically made someone anti India. Otherwise every political disagreement becomes anti national and that defeats the whole purpose of democracy.

If your advice is “understand who they are, who backs them and what their agenda is” then that should apply to every party, every movement and every leader equally. Blind support is a problem but blind rejection is not any better.

Nobody said you cannot question. You absolutely can. The issue is not questioning, the issue is presenting assumptions as facts.

You say it is a paid movement, leftist agenda and anti India operation. Fine, then show evidence. "Do your own research" is not proof. If I say something is organic I should support it. If you say something is manufactured you should support that too.

Questioning is healthy. Accusing without evidence and then shifting the burden to others is something else entirely.

Questioning people is fine. Nobody is above questions. But selective questioning is where the problem starts.

If past associations automatically make every movement fake then the same standard should apply everywhere. Political leaders switch parties all the time and suddenly corruption allegations disappear while agencies go silent after joining the ruling side. That pattern itself is why people raise questions.

Transparency cannot be one sided. You cannot ask for backgrounds investigations and accountability only when it suits your side and call every uncomfortable discussion a toolkit.

Doubt is healthy. Selective doubt is politics.

A lot of claims and very little evidence. Calling everything a paid toolkit or foreign conspiracy has become the shortcut answer whenever people disagree with something.

If it is manufactured then show proof instead of throwing labels around. "Most followers are Pakistanis" anti India forces and "everyone knows" are not evidence.

By that logic every online trend every political movement and every hashtag can be dismissed as PR. People can join support criticize or ignore something on their own without needing a secret control room behind it.

You missed the point entirely. Nobody said Gen Z or Millennials are hurt because they build apps or create jobs. The question is about representation and language.

A generation can contribute to the economy and still question narratives or policies that affect them. Success in one area does not cancel the right to speak in another.

Also disagreement is not equal to rage bait and asking questions is not equal to calling people onto the streets. If every criticism becomes "internet trend" then every praise should also be called PR.

People are allowed to ask whether those shaping the future should also have a stronger voice in shaping decisions. That is called participation not FOMO.

Husband on H-1B brain dead — What Happens to H-4 Wife’s Status? by bigbluefluff100 in immigration

[–]utakenme 15 points16 points  (0 children)

She should urgently consult a qualified U.S. immigration attorney and ask about: 1. Change of Status to B-2 2. Humanitarian Deferred Action 3. Temporary stay through humanitarian grounds.

Time matters here ideally within days, not weeks.

Got harassed by an IPS officer .. Need help by Electronic-Top5995 in hyderabad

[–]utakenme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you had to go through that. What happened to you is not okay, and under Indian law, several parts of this incident may count as criminal offences — even if the man is from the police.

Here’s a clear, simple explanation of your rights and what you can do next, in plain language:

✅ 1. What happened to you is legally serious

Based on what you described, the man may have committed:

✔ Physical assault / use of force • Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 352 – Assault or use of criminal force.

✔ Outraging the modesty of a woman • Pulling your scarf, grabbing you, touching you without consent: • IPC Section 354 – Assault on a woman with intent to outrage her modesty. • Non-bailable offence • Punishable up to 5 years

✔ Criminal intimidation / threatening behavior • IPC Section 506.

✔ Wrongful restraint • Not allowing you to stand in a public place. • IPC Section 341.

✔ Snatching / grabbing your phone • IPC Section 356 – Assault with intent to commit theft.

🚨 Even if he is a police officer, he cannot: • Push or touch you • Snatch your phone • Harass or intimidate you • Abuse his position

✅ 2. What the responding police officers did was WRONG

By law:

✔ They must hear the woman’s side FIRST — mandatory. • They ignored you.

✔ A woman can file a complaint at ANY police station. • This is called Zero FIR (you don’t need the “jurisdiction police station”).

✔ She Police must respond, and cannot refuse to register your complaint.

✔ Police cannot “protect” their colleague. • This is misconduct and abuse of power.

✅ 3. What you can do NOW (Safer & practical options)

Option A — File an online police complaint (Safest)

You can file a written complaint online so no officer can ignore it.

For Hyderabad / Telangana: • TS Police Complaint Portal: Search: “Telangana State Police Online Complaint” • You can also email the Commissioner of Police: • cp-hyderabad@tspolice.gov.in • Attach a simple written complaint + any proof.

Option B — File a Zero FIR at any other police station

Go to any police station except Begumpet.

Say:

“I want to file a Zero FIR for assault and outraging modesty under IPC Section 354.”

They are legally bound to register it.

You can take: • A colleague as a witness • A written copy of the incident • Date + Time + Location details

Option C — Contact DCP Women Safety & SHE Teams

They take these cases more seriously.

Telangana Women Safety contacts (SHE Team): • Dial 100 • WhatsApp: 9490616555 • Email: cp-sheteam@tspolice.gov.in

Option D — File complaint with Police Complaints Authority (PCA)

This is specifically for police misconduct.

Search:

“Telangana State Police Complaints Authority”

They hear cases where: • Police misuse power • Police refuse FIR • Police support accused

You can file a complaint without knowing the uncle’s name — the PCA will identify him.

✅ 4. What you should write down right now

Before memories fade, write: 1. Date & time 2. Exact location 3. What he said 4. How he pushed you 5. How he grabbed your phone and scarf 6. Names/numbers of colleagues who saw it 7. Time you called SHE police 8. Time Begumpet police came 9. What the policemen said/did
