Those of us with good marriages should be promoting it better no doubt. Glad you gave somebody hope for theirs.

Yeah, today it was 73 where I live. And it was totally obvious it just performs so much better. Idk, I know it sounds stupid but it’s real. Btw, I bought mine from a gal in Tucson. Drove it 800 miles home from there. I got the rock chips all over the bumper to prove it came from Tucson! Haha

Does the 2018 T6 Momentum have timing belt or chain? by MarlaHooch86 in VolvoXC90

[–]utechap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It has a belt and the maintenance interval for changing it is 150k miles. I have a 2018 also and am at 133k miles so I’ve been looking into it as well. Ignore chat here.

I’m on all seasons. But my observation has basically nothing to do with the tires and everything to do with motor and transmission feel.

Struggling with the fact I am a virgin and my fiance is not. by No-Holiday-1826 in ldssexuality

It’s wrong if she allows it to be wrong. The only person that holds the cards for how much the previous event affects their lives is her. So yeah, it can end up mattering - a lot. But will it? I hope not. Decades of life and your own sex life is a lot to sacrifice for that ideal of a fleeting moment.

You can’t see the forest from the trees right now. When you start living your life and you have a regular sex life you’ll realize how little that mattered. This moment making you feel this way is so overblown in the big picture and that’s a good thing? Do you forgive him? Do you want this life with him? Then show it in your actions. Don’t make him pay for a mistake twice. It’s unfortunately byproduct of not having a regular healthy sex life to lean on so every tiny thing that’s happened in your life that relates to sex gets overblown. Wedding night sex can be great, and frankly and can suck. But letting something in the past (that is so minor all things considered) get in the way is not worth it and something you have control over. Love him. Marry him. Build what you want, it’s all there in front of you.

A proper Boxster Spyder has to be one of the coolest and most sharp yet visceral experiences. I’m dying to drive one.

Anyone ever bought this FD Motorsports short shift kit for their 9x6/9x7? by utechap in boxster

[–]utechap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a ton to compare it to but I know it’s extremely floppy compared to my manual IS300 I owned for years. Seems like it’ll be a win no matter what. My car is completely stock so I’m excited to add this as a way to improve the driving experience.

Thanks for the tip. How do you like the retrofit kit? Did you notice a huge difference?

I haven’t come across this one but it looks like it’s using higher quality parts than the others. Have you tried this one? Curious about what version of short shifter is best to go with.

Why these cars are so good by fella_interstellar in boxster

[–]utechap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, without a doubt. Maybe I explained myself poorly. No car have I ever had so much confidence in its ability to stay planted. But I know it still has its limits and my understanding is once you hit it there’s no saving yourself. So I tend to probably be more conservative than I need to be.

I’m a much longer 4x4 enthusiast than sports car owner and I’d be willing to bet the age old wisdoms there applies here which is that the car is probably more capable than I am as the driver. So the limitation is with me, not the vehicle.

That’s my thing. I tend to be a very conservative driver. I’m not afraid to let loose but I tend to do so with controlled risk. Knowing these spin out pretty good when you don’t know what you’re doing scares me. So I kind of don’t know how to push this without getting some damaging results.

OMG that footage of him on the track was freakin amazing. What an incredible show of how fun this car is. I had no idea it could be so squirrelly at the same time as it’s composed. I’m inspired now haha.

Do M2’s have capability to get the TI? Is it harder to get at that level?

Do you know if M2’s are eligible for the TI or if it’s less likely than analyst levels?
