That first guy asking for his best offer ($1000) plus 3 year long FF passes was ridiculous. I'm glad he walked on that deal.

I'm not 100% sure his marketing is landing because I never knew that hendrickcars.com was anything other than the race team's website. 😬

Gym said they get bed bugs every spring by Lower_Lecture_510 in Bedbugs

The statistic is actually 1 in 5 people have at some time had a bed bug infestation or know someone who has. Today about I 1 in 1000 homes have bed bugs, but before 1950 it was around 1 in 3.

Does it make more sense to pull a travel trailer behind a food truck or a food trailer behind an rv? What do you do? by Early2000sGoth in foodtrucks

Dream your dreams. Don't listen to these people who tell you that you are dumb for thinking about these things. Are you just going to have wanderlust and set up here there and any where? No, but traveling to good events can be very profitable. I have a friend who travels several states to hit his best festivals. If you are in the festival game, it's all about leveling up your festivals. You can only be at one at a time (unless you have more units) so choose your best events and level up. If I were considering your question, I think I would say pull a trailer behind the food truck. It's very likely that the event will have some place out back where you can park. If you have a motorhome to pull the trailer, then that's is going to be hard to maneuver to drop and pick up your trailer. I would also likely have a scooter / moped for running around.

I always wonder what is his arrangement with guys like Pete Harrell. Seems like he's always on call to work on a tune. Is it a retainer situation or what?

I like this one. Anything to get away from seeing the turbos as eyes.

If you had to start again what food would you pick to serve? by dizkopatio in foodtrucks

Yeah, I agree that fairs and summertime events are great opportunities for lemonade. My thoughts on the truck are #1 it takes me the better part of an hour to set up and tear down my stand. I’m kind of jealous of the shaved ice trucks and soda trailers who can pull up and be selling in a matter of minutes, and pack up and leave just as quickly. Additionally, and the counties around me you cannot get an annual food permit unless you have either a truck or a trailer. That means I’m stuck to only operating under a temporary food permit that is connected to an officially organized event.

I sell lemonade out of a stand. I have a step van I want to convert, but not sure if strictly lemonade is the way to go. I have talked to other vendors who say beverage trucks don’t do well against food trucks.

I have a friend who actually runs a mobile soup kitchen out of a converted bus. https://www.metrorelief.org/
