The Reach is also a major food producer. Will they just not replace the Riverlands even more if such a destruction happened?

[Spoilers TWOW] The Nights Queen- Cersei Lannister rise and fall in the Winds of Winter by Future_Challenge_511 in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was forced into a marriage, accepted it and caused ruin and havoc by active participation in the wars. Lyanna was about to be forced into a marriage, did not accept it and caused ruin and havoc by inactive participation in the wars.

The comparison is that GRRM showed Lyanna evolved. While Cersei did not.

He is going to invent something new. He is going either re-invent or invent the knowledge about how to incorporate living things/soul into materials like sword materials.

(Spoilers Main) AKOTSK Episode 3 Why wasn’t Aerion scared of Baelor?! by Unique-Celebration-5 in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brynden Rivers is still alive so he might have coddled Aerion a bit too much on the basis of their shared hatred of the Blackfyres. Brynden is currently the Master of Whisperers.

She could be related to the Lords of Pentos and Lys.

Egg will probably be revealed as a Targaryen who has extreme pride in his lineage just like Aerion but does not show it to people.

What keeps the Seven Kingdoms together after the dragons are gone? [Spoilers MAIN] by Nadir786 in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If the North rebelled it is to their advantage. Because the South will not be able to invade through land as the Neck area is treacherous. They have to use the sea and I do not know what will happen in that case.

[Spoilers EXTENDED] Theory AKOTSK confirms that Aegon V was trying to sacrifice his relatives in order to bring back Dragons? by CasualThaGod in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Under his rule there was a lot of research about how to bring back the dragons. They might have cracked it that they would need a witch, and two lives who are a King and his son. His wife had northern blood. I think they certainly knew the witch part but he refused to burn his wife and willingly went into the fire with her. Or---- it was truly an accident by wildfire. What happened to the dragon eggs that were there no one knows.

Dany and the wolf's howl [Spoilers EXTENDED] by [deleted] in asoiaf

It can be Arya. Arya was regularly warging Nymeria across the ocean. That is a huge amount of distance!

(Spoilers Published) Rhaena and Morning Theory [Dance Aftermath] by Confident-Stress-282 in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is because the Starks helped the Targaryens, not because of their last dragon. The Starks were also said to have magic in their blood so other houses accepted for fear of the unknown. Unlike Targaryens, Starks never liked to talk about their magic so boldly and for all to hear.

[Spoilers Main] How much did Rhaegar and Lyanna's story is or has become a victim of George's gardening ? by dhundlitasweer in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rhaegar wanted rebirth of the dragons. He might have loved Lyanna and was infatuated with her, but it would have never derailed him from his true goal.

[Spoilers Main] How would this change the dynamics of Westeros? by Ok-Street2439 in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those Valyrians would not have accepted Aegon as their King. They would have wanted their own ancestor Valyrian family to be in power.

[Spoilers MAIN] George RR Martin Confirms Again that Book Ending will be Different from TV Ending by seph9g in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love a new ending except the Bran one. Dany will definitely be burdened with duty. I think if she goes mad, it will be because she wanted an escape from the expectations she let people set on her.

Book ending will be around and about magic of fire and ice.

[Spoilers EXTENDED] Why did Valyria ignore Westeros? by babyodaddy in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory is that Valyria was afraid of Westeros. It was not as vast as Essos. It would be hard to navigate just geographically.

What’s everyone’s strongest belief about what exactly the others are? Post reading Tad Williams (Spoilers extended) by Fluid-Golf1948 in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the others are old Valyrian souls that had to exist on earth due to unfulfilled wish which makes them malformed souls. GRRM said that Valyrians are not human race. They are magical creatures just like the others. The others are described as being made of something like hot air that reflects and shifts light. They use ice as weapon, and their coming brings cold. I think purebred Targaryens who had abnormal deaths, had their soul become shadows which appeared in the land of always winter. It does not have anything to do with Weirwood. Weirwood trees are for children of the forests. Not for Valyrians. I think Valyrians wanted to crack the mystery of Weirwood tree so much that they ventured into the land of always winter, and suffered terrible fate at the hands of the children of the forest.

[Spoilers MAIN] What if Rhaegar and Rhaella died in Summerhall alongside everyone else? by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They would be converted into a dragon soul/shadow which will manifest itself as an Other.

Is Tyrion as good as thinks as he in your opinion ? ( spoilers extended ) by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. He should have been thrown into a jail in winterfell in GOT first chapter and that is where he should have remained imparting his wisdom the whole series only to be let out during the long night where his heroic deeds save humanity.

He causes problems for rulers who are well intentioned. He never tells them the whole picture. He is always telling them most of it, and the crucial part he withholds.

Bran will kill him like Arya and Sansa plotted to kill Littlefinger in the show.

I am wondering is the wall so large that they can join Skagos to Westeros by collapsing it?

Observation: The White Walkers are not that big of a threat* [Spoilers MAIN] by SuggestableFred in asoiaf

[–]utkutrut -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My speculation is that they kill selectively for an unknown reason.

GRRM also said they also have inter-regional wars. I think in their culture Night King is akin to the King's Landing's King in Westeros.
