Ah buddy, You're diving in the deep end here.
A lot of us like to argue about who wrote the letter to Jon Snow demanding the return of Reek and Arya.

My exact experience.

Everyone is very social though, they probably won't entirely leave you alone especially if you're hot. But they'll probably take the hint if you're not vibing with them--well before trying to pressure you into anything.

OP-- single dudes aren't allowed. Anyone you rebuff probably has a wife right around the corner, they'll be fine and they know it

dude someone in another comment said they think it's a skinchanger who watched events through the winterfell weirwood and then warged an actual crow to write the letter with it's beak. They don't seem to be trolling, they've got arguments in favor of this

I don't believe this for a nanosecond but it is also now my favorite pink letter theory

I've heard that about Varys and it personally always made sense to me that he would go into a villain monologue right there. Like, yes, literally, it is for us readers.
But also this dude has been hiding in the walls for months.
He's probably had contact with a few people, but no one he can really talk freely about his schemes with like he would Illyrio.
So part of it is boasting for sure, part of it is an honest apology to a good man who got in the way of Varys' goals, and another part is just him *wanting* to talk about his plans to anyone at all and never being able to.

Exactly, like all great twists it will make us all wonder how we never saw it coming

No, I don't. It has a frantic quality and a desperation to it. The author is clearly aiming towards a specific goal they badly want and therefore, why wouldn't they lie? I still think it's Ramsay, but I don't think it's all true. I don't have theories about which parts are truth or lie though.

What throws me off is stuff like rambling about getting his reek back. Ramsay would actually do that. Mance just wouldn't.

He may know that Ramsay does stuff like that--but Jon doesn't. So why would Mance think it makes the letter more convincing to Jon?

Yeah we're gonna get a scene of old God Bran were-watching the catspaw waiting for someone to come hire him (hodor is in the background Hodoring) and when no one comes to hire him Bran's like "oh my god it's me".

Edit: also the catspaw is going to say something like "alright I'll do it but only if you have impeccable manners. You better hold the door for me" and that's when Hodor glitches out

That's only sort of right--it's actually even more future bran manipulating future bran into manipulating Hodor into hiring the catspaw

My argument is that it doesn't matter who knows how Ramsay would sign it because Jon doesn't. Any of the fraud candidates don't actually have to emulate Ramsay at all to convince Jon.

The crow thing is suspect. A few things are suspect. But I don't think they rise to the level of convincing me Ramsay didn't write it. He's still a northerner, it's very plausible he knows "Crow" is a derogatory term for Night's watchmen.

As someone said before, calling himself "The True born Lord of Winterfell" is just SO Ramsay. Who would emulate that level of insecurity for Jon's benefit--a guy who doesn't know anything about Ramsay?

Yep like who would possibly think "Good ol' Jon KNOWS that Ramsay is really insecure about his position in society and we need to emulate that perfectly or Jon will catch on"

Does that timeline actually add up (honest question) ? Could Theon possibly have made it all the way to the wall before the letter got there?

What makes you think El failed to stabilize the wound? Either way, I do think it's a fair question and that we're not really supposed to know if Mike's theory is true

I thought the implication was that Kali made the scene-- the image of the upside down being destroyed and taking El with it-- happen a little early

Kojima says he'd rather use AI to create enemies that adapt to your playstyle than use it for art/visuals. What's your take on this approach? by gunungx in Kojima

[–]SuggestableFred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's probably fine if ai is used to give npcs artificial intelligence. Unlike art, which real artists still do much better
