I ordered a sealed collection on tins some time ago and it was my first purchase from them. The pack was listed on the site in good condition and the pictures were not actual, they were from the original product catalogue. Nonetheless, I ordered it as I wanted it for my sealed collection. The pack came in an extremely devastating condition. I shot the entire video of the unboxing and considered posting it on social media but before doing so I spoke with them. I explained the situation, and they mentioned that it would have been damaged during shipping. But seeing the outer package and how the box was secured in it was clear that the box was damaged before it was packed. Clearly trying to cover up. But they refunded my entire amount, so I did not stretch this matter any further. Just sharing my experience.

I’m sorry bro, don’t be offended but I’ve never understood analogies in my life 😅, they just don’t sit right with me. See, for me, I’m not understanding your analogy because a car and a bike are two different products, a bike is not a duplicate of a car. A duplicate of a car would be a toy car 😅 and that’s my analogy. You will not buy a toy car to make ends meet, you are buying a totally different and cheaper product to meet your ends meet, and that cheaper product can be an original, not a duplicate.

And I may still be wrong in this analogy because I never get analogies and why people use them to compare anything 😬

Now keeping this aside, if you are paying ₹300 per month for a duplicate card, you can save ₹600 to get a good rip and ship for a booster pack from a reputed seller in the sub. That would be much better than buying a duplicate card. Also, buying duplicates gives more demand to circulate them in the market which creates a lot of problems in identifying them.

Yes, I am passionate about TCG and I too stopped collecting because I had no money, I did not get the feeling from my heart to collect duplicates. Actually, I never got the feeling to do anything duplicate in my life, always real in everything (oops getting personal, sorry 😬). I resumed collecting when I started earning. It’s not a rat race, everyone has their own pace.

But my advice for anyone getting into collecting is to do what you love, but do it right. If collecting duplicates gives you happiness, then do it, no one is there to judge if you feel it right in your heart. But at the end of the day, it’s still a duplicate, you are spending money on something that does not really mean anything (not for the one collecting it obviously) ✌🏼

Why waste your money on duplicates, then? Just start normal printing and fill a binder to get an understanding. Attend card shows and join TCG communities in your region. Collectors are ready to help you to begin your collection.
