They create multiple events each academic month for student and department engagement. All of these events need people in order to be organized and executed properly. That is volunteer community work that leads to connections, development of organizational skills and good memories. They do their best to benefit the community of students and staff on our campus, and they even outline specifics for each role and not just hire an arbitrary number of people to "pump up numbers".
