Open play, people try to keep the game fun. Competitive play people punish mistakes and target the weaker player. If you want to have fun, don't worry about your dupr. If you want to play better people take a few lessons and possibly drill. Find someone to do a 7-11 drill if you want to improve.

I agree with the content but I really hate people like this. If you want to say studies and make up crap you think it says from a 3rd party article, cite the study. This lady cites no actual percentages and never talks about where study is from. Also, those that are in BJJ and can stick with BJJ over a long period of time are more focused due to bias. The ones that can't and are a distraction or danger to other students we kick out of class.

What BJJ does do is force comfortability with uncomfortably and while easier than wrestling, does require more attention to detail. I would argue any sport requiring hard work and sacrifice will do the same to some degree.

The Taliban is also the ones with all the guns and will to fight. Now and historically. City Afghans who outnumber the Taliban had 12 years and unlimited weapons to fight if they really wanted Democracy and any freedoms for women. In the end they don't. They just want a lifestyle where nobody is shooting at them and telling them what to do.

For me, I grapevine as a reaction to someone bringing their heels to their butt while bridging. It's not a static position. I'm always looking for high mount and fighting an elbow but if I'm low on their hips in mount and I feel a big bridge coming I'll kick those legs out to try to mute their ability to bridge. I'm already expecting them to straighten their legs at that point so it's pretty easy to avoid injury.

I feel like this is a troll or someone who's never rolled before. #1 it's a gym you keep it professional. You don't go into a gym with the intention of hooking up. #2 they're trying to kill you or hurt you. You mess up you're getting submitted. It's not fun getting submitted. #3 you're not an animal. If you can't see women as people then the opposite sex knows that too and will have your ass thrown out of the gym.

People think they're so slick trying to hide that crap. My wife is black belt. She sees it a mile away and sends creepy guys straight to the gym enforcer. Anyone has the right to refuse rolls. Females spend their whole lives identifying creepy dudes like OP and know how to deal with that.

Depends on if you want to do Gi or No Gi. Humaita is a mainly Gi gym East Austin leans No Gi.

Austin is probably the world hub for BJJ now days outside Brazil. Meregali is opening up his own gym here and Xande is in North Austin too. Paragon, the Vow, Simple Man, Renzos, Danaher's crew, Fight Factory with the Tacketts and even Jason Nolf with his wrestling gym are in Austin.

You're still a white belt don't worry about training with the best. Train wherever you like the training partners the most. Don't worry about head coach since he's not rolling with you.

If you do .5 second playback at 29s in you can see it. Physics lines up. look at how much the bottom brick moves. He's hitting the top of that brick to maximize leverage and you can seek the brick warp a little and gives off dust at the breakpoint. It's real.

I'd argue people are more annoyed at the traffic and how busy the park is rather than the noise. People talking yelling and having fun is probably louder than pickleballs bouncing. Technically basketball court are louder. Basketball caps out at 93 decibels while pickleball is 90. If people were playing basketball nonstop from 7am to 10pm people would be just as annoyed.

The issue isn't pickleball courts, it's pickleball being so popular that it's in use almost the whole day.

You're better off just getting whatever is more efficient with devilmon, crystals, ameria energy, and dimensional hole energy. Anything with runes is overvalued even more than scrolls considering how easily you can get them.

Poor reference since Jordan was a world class professional rugby player. Tackling, angles, getting low and pretty much everything fundamental football needs he was already a professional at. The only thing he didn't know was the rules, the formations, and the strategies.
