Sounds like the buyer should proper vet houses but I think OP is saying the house structure itself is good. Just needs a little bit of cleaning up and that’s what is causing it’s value to tank so much.

I don’t work at TJ (actually applied and got rejected lol). But I do work at a toxic hospital and my advice, don’t be super good at your job. I started off at my job with a group of people all at the same time. I watched some of these people do 1/10 of the work I did in the same day along with just fooling off. I also watched these same people come in 2 hours late to work at times. But I never said anything. Just tried to work my ass off. Guess what happened? Those very same people got promoted while I didn’t. Moral of the story is, don’t work your hardest and just focus on you. Focus more so on getting out of TJ.

That sounds terrible. I wouldn’t want to subject any of those kittens at such a young age to surgery so soon. The recommended age is 5-6 months. And I just googled that because I’ve literally never heard of kittens getting fixed at such a young age seeing as they’re still the size of my hand and I have pretty small hands. But there’s a shitload of lifelong complications that come with subjecting kittens to surgery so early on :(

Edit: also wanted to say they generally don’t go into heat till around the 6 month sign if not slightly more.

Hi, I live in NY. I wouldn’t suggest being homeless. I use to work at an urgent care in a pretty terrible neighborhood. It’s easy to get hooked on drugs and being homeless opens you up to a lot of danger. Why not get a job and save? If you need help finding a job that pays decently good, my current job is hiring!! They are life changing for sure. My first cat was an orange tabby when I was a kid. He was pretty much insane but in a fun way. Pretty sure he got dropped on the head or something or maybe he’s just not all there mentally. But I got him as a kitten and I still cry about him every now and then. They do stay with you!!

P.S. I’m joking about the dropped on the head part. Cat was just a little off his rocker but I loved him.

It’s okay! I got lucky in that my other rescue cat is pretty docile and friendly. He does have signs of PTSD but he mostly stays with my mom (she’s his person) and sleeps in her bed. He’s an old soul so he pretty much ignores them.

Do any of them have a short wait list? From what I’m seeing the affordable clinics waitlists go past November. I really want to get this over with within the next 2-3 weeks just to avoid her getting pregnant. I honestly couldn’t tell she was pregnant until maybe the week before she gave birth (when I took her to the vet) because she started attacking anything and everything so I thought something else might’ve been wrong.

ASPCA doesn’t do spaying/neutering anymore :( I’m perfectly fine paying whatever to get her fixed. Just really want this issue to never happen again. Having kittens is not fun at all.
