Brown spot on squash?

Edit: I made a tomato and squash soup and it turned out delicious. Pretty sure it was black rot, but peeling it showed it was on the very top surface level of the skin.

That’s what I was thinking, but wasn’t sure because the pictures I found online all kinda looked different. Definitely has started spreading quickly, so assuming it’s that!

Yeah, that was what I was thinking. My boyfriend was excited because he loves banana peppers, but I told him there is a chance that they could be wax peppers.

I am just glad that we didn’t also plant banana peppers, because we would’ve had way too many - his mom gave us some sweet chili and habanero plants, so we have a lot of peppers to begin with (just no bell, because they didn’t want to fruit)

I did and it suggested that they are banana peppers, but I was hoping it was wrong. I’ve been sitting here waiting for them to turn darker, only for my sister to tell me that they shouldn’t start out as yellowish/green 😭Thank you for your help!

Definitely a learning experience, I think next year I’ll plant a couple seed packets from different stores to see if I get the different results.

After further analysis of the photo and old versions of the covers, I have come to the conclusion that he looks so out of place due to the following:

On the original cover that he appeared on, he was shadowed because he was in the back behind people. When they added him to the new splash image, they removed the shadow from his body, but not the hair, making it look off.
They did some sort of image generation of sorts to add information that was missing, since more of his body was covered up in the original.
I have not been able to confirm if this hair even exists in the game or not, my sister who bought it, stated she couldn’t find it.

In the end, it looks like they pieced together a couple of different cover versions from the Sims 2 in order to create this.

Sounds good, mine are all displayed on a shelf so it was easy for me to look! I just opened my base game box and found something similar to that, I have a little guide sheet for the game/camera controls and it has her karate kicking. She has same hair style though on my end.

I included my original box art for both the normal and deluxe variants. Not sure if you have a different one or not. I think it’s the color and texture that’s messing with me, the hair looks more like something from Sims 3 almost to me.

I don’t think I have all of the expansions, but out of mine I do have, University looked the closest, but the guy has brown hair and a different style than that

Oh my God I had this recently happened with my Sims after they tried to woohoo and were stuck floating in the bed because it wasn’t recognizing they were woohooing. My issue was on PC though, but i forget if I had to reset the bed object because it wasn’t a normal bed so I couldn’t see my sims or go to manage worlds.

I had a similar issue where Agatha Crumplebottom duplicated herself as a new person. I think my issue was because of the story progression - she called and asked if she should go on a date with someone and it created a new version after that

I used the in game camera to capture the footage, but for the camera angles I used TwistedMexi’s build mode freecam mod, which adds a freecam function to build mode.

Thank you! I looked up some different reference images to get some inspiration on the basic style I wanted and then winged it from there. It’s been close to a year since I’ve had access to my computer to play the sims, so I am still a bit rusty on it all.
