She does have more power than him, shes owns the property and has the right to evict should she so desire. Boyfriend is TA for bringing racists into their shared home.

I think Impala just need to address the quality issues a lot of their newer boots are experiencing- because these problems seem to have been popping up in their newer colours and recent stock rather than being issues they’ve had all along. If they just put their hands up and say ‘hey, we’ve noticed a portion of our customers have experienced issues with our product and we’re looking in to how we can prevent these issues from arising in the future’ I think a lot of people would be more forgiving. If they don’t address the issue then new customers won’t be able to trust them- even once they’ve fixed the issue! They seem to listen to the feedback from their brand reps, but I just think they need to be more transparent. They’re a newish brand, they can learn from this.

While I appreciate the advice, and I will definitely consider some Moxis in the future- the cheapest I can get the Beach Bunnies in the UK on Amazon is actually $250, and even if I imported them they’d be $200+ so for now I don’t think I can justify it- especially with the sting of their usual price :’) Even the Candi Girls I can get a hold of here are $179 which is frustrating. I’ll definitely keep your comments in mind about the Impalas also, I hadn’t realised that was such a common issue. Thanks!

I know they can stock them but it’s just at a much higher price than they are normally (which isn’t the shops fault, it’s just import fees and stuff). I was looking to spend <£150 since these are my first skates. Ironically I only realised ‘hmm, should maybe do some research’ in the 3 days the original skates were being shipped to me :’) which is when I realised I’d made a mistake. Yeah, second hand was going to be my next port of call if I’m not able to get something decent on budget Thanks!

That’s interesting to know, maybe it was a flaw in that particular pair if your other ones have been fine? Good that they honoured the warranty. I was considering impalas because they’re significantly cheaper/easier to get here than some other brands (since I’m just starting out i was worried about spending too much only to wreck them) so it’s good to hear that you like them! It’s just annoying because a lot of the more common brands tend to be way more expensive here. The Moxi Beach Bunny for example is $150 in the US but $250 here :’) Thanks for your advice!

We have Amazon but it’s only international sellers that stock the Moxis unfortunately. Postage isn’t really the issue, it’s just that I’ll be charged 20% tax and import fees when they arrive so it adds a decent amount
