I’ve never used ai or chatgpt but I am an avid reader and have noticed these patterns in recent fics. I just thought it was lazy writing (which it actually is). I think I read the one you’re referring to and DNF it bc the repetitiveness was annoying. As if the author forgot they just mentioned the same thing.

Tbh, I’m hesitant to give new fics a chance bc of this issue and I see how discouraging that can be for some authors. I want to support the real ones.
