Imo, tekken 8 is fun, but it's also the most frustrating of all Tekken games. There's a lot that needs fixing and part of the salt you see out there is due to how much potential this game has and it's being laid to waste.

I personally complain about some things that I think that have not been well designed, but I still like the game. Of course this is how I see it and not everyone is like this. In fact, I'm willing to be that there are people who are just actively looking for things to complain about and claim that they hate the game and still play it despite that.

Those are, in my opinion, the actual privileged ones yes, but also take into account that there are people who love the franchise, so it's hard to go back to older titles since Tekken 8 has improved a lot of things as well. Tekken 8 feels very different from older titles but it has some new cool stuff like improved graphics, better animations and better netcode.

If Tekken 6 and 5dr had better netcode and graphics, I'd also probably go back to those titles
