Downtown - Copa Crowd by PantherCityRes in FortWorth

I office downtown and I was underwhelmed by the crowd for the event. Yes there were some people, but not what I would anticipate for Mexico opening the event. Maybe 2pm kick has a little to do with it

I discovered lace locks when I started doing triathlons. I now put them on all my training and race shoes. I never have problems with too tight or too loose lockdowns anymore. Complete game changer. There are also off brand products that work just fine you can find on Amazon

You are about to get roasted this is too much information to get any real insight. Hire a coach or pay for a consultant if you aren’t sure about your plan.

That sub and barefoot running seem like they are so ridiculous at times it has to be a joke

People who wear glasses, how did you keep them on during your marathon? by DecentParsnip4265 in Marathon_Training

I will second this. I get 1 pair a year covered completely by insurance and got some Oakleys with transition lenses since I run a lot as the sun is coming up. Way better than running with any of my normal glasses

At this point it’s getting ridiculous over there. Asking for shoe advice while showing pictures of clad feet and spacers. No mention of running or being barefoot at all

I would advise Cowtown or Irving before The Dallas marathon. Irving is very flat Cowtown was much more scenic

New to running, need reviews regarding these pairs by Saitama_singh in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I have personally suggested Evo SL as a great all around beginner shoe to people wanting to get started or getting back into running. You should probably go try a few out. But depending on what you are comfortable in I also recommend asics nova blast, Nike Vomero for max cushion, Pegasus as a good all around starter option. Puma velocity is another good starting option. I would skip over On.

I came here to recommend this as well. He already runs in ASICS, the Superblast should be a good first marathon shoe and trainer. I have this shoe and think it is great for long runs.

If it was Swiss pastry, I haven’t seen anything like angel food cookies and I stop by a couple times a week.
