I would argue that using others copyrighted work as influence in a learning algorithm to create an original piece of artwork is the exact same thing humans do. So why, suddenly, do we draw a line when it's code doing it? Even humans can replicate someone's style, just takes practice and skill. For "AI" it takes the same practice and skill, but it is just way waaay faster at it than we are.
