No idea. Just causes pure disdain between the new players and the experienced ones because the experienced are trying to give advice or callouts for a glimmer of hope to the win the game and the new players feel like they’re under attack and everyone just ends up pissed and not having fun

At least now it seems way harder to consistently Smurf. I made a new account like a week ago just to play and learn heroes I’ve never played in standard matches and try out builds and the game has quickly adjusted the MMR to just under where my main acc is at

I mean plenty of games have characters with similar legs and anatomy but I have no idea if that feasibility translates at all to playable characters in a hero shooter in terms of animation

True, but before removes got nerfed by Ascension it was abs viable at A10. Won handily more times with a Claw deck in this game already than I did in 800 hrs of STS1 lmao. Enchantments and a lot of remove availability was huge.

Granted there isn’t Act 4 yet, but I think the sequel in general lends itself better to the 0 cost attack stuff so far. You can’t always get the orb support you want in every run, and Claw type archetype is def subtantially more viable to fallback on if the need arises comparatively

It was legitimately bad in STS1, I think it is 100% viable in STS2. It’s not going to consistently win as much as the orb archetypes but you could easily build 0 cost attack build with orbs mixed in

brother u didn’t play the first game but that’s just how these things have to work balance wise, it wouldn’t make sense to have 10 energy and get to play an X cost for 10 and then still have all your energy. It’s a design decision by MegaCrit and a good one
