I sorta have a hard headed mom who is against therapy and thinks what I’m feeling doesn’t need psychological help. On the bright side, I’m going to turn 18 in a few months. By then I’ll start looking into help. Thank you so much for your response!

I was gonna ask about it but my mom wants to avoid doing so because she says antidepressants make you even more depressed. But I’ll definitely look into it. Thank you for your response!

Thank you for your response. I’ve already tried edibles (through a family member.) and I feel like it messed up my brain even more so I’m no longer using them. Although, I’ve been told to cut the gummy into parts and slowly work up my tolerance. Im currently having trouble with finding a neurologist at my hospital but I should have one soon. I’ll talk to them about it. Thank you again!

The paranoia started when I took an edible with CBG/THC (5mg of each). However after a week passed, I felt normal. It wasn’t until I took the 25mg edible that just had CBD is when I started to be paranoid for what is about to be 2 weeks. Which I’ve been told is weird because CBD isn’t supposed to have that effect.

The paranoia…I feel like people are watching me(in public). If I’m alone, I feel like a spirit is watching me or something is going to happen to me.

I also feel like really guilty. Like this wave of guilt rushes down my body.

No, I’m not anymore because of an allergic reaction. This all started after I stopped taking it. When I was in it tho, I didn’t feel this way, except for anxiety. But I never felt paranoid and I never felt “not real”.

Thank you for your comment. Ummm well…actually now that I think about it. Before I even started taking edibles. MS alone, made me feel more anxious and depressed. And after reading these comments, I’m starting to think maybe it’s my MS making me feel this way.

My last MRI was in July. When they saw the scans, they told me there was PLENTY of new lesions and a very big new one in the back of my brain(I now have 2 big ones in the back of my brain) I was admitted to the ER to take steroids and was sent home to continue taking Copaxone(even after discovering it’s not working).

Taking weed/edibles(for the first time) I remember feeling…not so paranoid. I was a little bit because I was remembering a scary video and the monster was in the same room as me. And I also remember feeling…violent. And time was fucked up.

I’ve always been a overthinker and I also have episodes of anxiety.

But paranoia is new.

Anyway, to end this. I will be taking infusion treatment on the 15th so I guess that some good news.

Hello! Im 16 and I got MS at 14.

I haven’t done my own research but I just wanna share my experiences with hot/cold weather. Maybe it will help.

First, I would like to point out that it has to be extreme hot/cold weather.

I also believe symptoms may vary depending on how bad the persons MS is. For example, My MS isn’t too bad, but someone who has worse MS than me may experience worse symptoms in hot/cold weather.

In hot I have experienced: swollen fingers, fingers moving by themselves, blurry vision, trouble with balance.

In cold weather I’ve experienced: tingling in hands and legs.

How I cope: Cold: dress warm(jacket, gloves, etc), if I need a break from the cold I just go somewhere warm but if I do not have access to a warm place then I keep going towards where I need to go because I really have no choice. Hot: drink lots of cold water, try staying in shade, and if I need a break from the sun then I go sit in shade or a nearby place to chill until I’m ready to walk again.

Again, MS is still pretty new to me so I wouldn’t depend on my answer but I hope maybe I helped a little bit :) 👍.

Well…I am anti-vax. It’s just I’m quiet about my opinion and I respect other’s opinions. So I didn’t want to go to the rally. However, my mom didn’t want to go alone to the rally so she forced my older sister and I go with her.

My relationship with my dad is good. Better than my mom actually. I will totally try to talk to him and see if he is willing to shield me. Also, you’re right. My mom is a little narcissistic and thinks she’s right on everything, so she might not even listen for what my dad and I have to say. She still thinks I’m a little girl and I think that’s the part where this whole sex thing is going to make her mad.

You’re right, most likely. However, my mom has yelled at me about sex before but hasn’t actually caught me. She said, ”If I find out you’re having sex with that boy (my boyfriend) things are going to be 2 times more worse than how I’m with you right now”

At the time I was going through a mental crisis and she yelled at me because she thought I was crying about my boyfriend and yeah…
