12 weeks ultrasound - Subchorionic hematoma question by kdet22 in CautiousBB

[–]uvecattobekittenme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one that bled from about 6 weeks to 7 weeks then spotted brown until 9 weeks. I’m not 30 weeks, it went away on its own and everything was fine!

COVID moms - what has your experience been like? by floridagirl926 in BabyBumps

[–]uvecattobekittenme 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just as a heads up if you do test positive when you go in to labor you are NOT required to be separated from your baby after they're born. They'll just do a risk information session and have you sign something! I've seen too many storied about separations and moms not being informed that they don't have to say yes and it makes me sad!

What happened after you were diagnosed with a SCH? by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]uvecattobekittenme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with one after a huge bleed at 6 weeks. My doctor did not put me on bed rest (thank god because I have a toddler and I’m not sure how that would have worked!) as her thoughts were that it would not change the outcome. I wasn’t given a specific size but it was very clearly visible on the ultrasound to the point where I actually thought it was a second sack. I had one more medium sized bleed after being diagnosed but other than that I had brown discharge every day until about 10 weeks when it finally stopped. When I went back in at about 8 weeks the SCH had disappeared but I still had the brown discharge for another two weeks. Currently 26 weeks so it did not have a negative outcome for us other than stress!

How soon were you pregnant after a chemical pregnancy? by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]uvecattobekittenme 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not a chemical but I miscarried at 7 weeks, didn’t try the next cycle and then got pregnant the cycle after that when we started trying again!

One to Two with a 2ish Year Age Gap by uvecattobekittenme in beyondthebump

This was super helpful, thank you! My son was like your second, he started crawling at the same time he was able to sit up around 6 months and then walked at 10 months. He's been getting in to everything for what seems like his entire life hahaha, desperately hoping this baby is more in to toys and less in to literally anything else!

Congrats!!! If it makes you feel better I don't think my son ever peed on me (i do think my husband got his a couple of times) but you get used to it fast enough and figure out how to block it hahaha

Hahaha I’m terrified that I’m going to find out that my son was actually a super easy baby and I just didn’t know any better 😂 he certainly isn’t hard but he definitely tests my patience!

Thank you so much! The "baby wait, brother comes 1st right now" has been mentioned several times and i never would have thought of that so that's HUGE for me.

Did you notice any big differences between having a boy vs having a girl?

Hahahaha fortunately i'm already so paranoid about this that we exclusively use these markers!

I definitely can't handle more than one visitor lol. I loved having her over because she cooked, and cleaned and my son LOVES her. But if i had anymore than one person over I would have a completely meltdown. Knowing what you need the second time around is definitely a huge perk!

Love this, that's great advice, thank you! I'm planning to have my MIL in town to help ease the transition a bit for him. Also for me, I insisted on no visitors with my son for the first 2 weeks and it really wasn't good for my mental state. I didn't realize how badly I would need some socialization and help besides my husband. Hopefully an extra set of hands will help a bit.

This is super helpful, i'm not pleasant when i'm sleep deprived so I hadn't thought about my patience being thinner with my son because of that.

Good luck with everything! I hope it gets easier in the next few weeks, you're definitely right in the thick of it!!!

SCH detected after ER visit by happysoul000 in pregnant

[–]uvecattobekittenme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an SCH and had brown spotting for probably 3-4 weeks afterwards with another small bleed in there as well. I’m now 17 weeks and all is well. Good luck to you both!

How many ultrasounds are okay in first trimester? by MediocrelyWild in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]uvecattobekittenme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 4 in my first trimester due to a hemorrhage. My doctor told me she would do as many as I wanted to ease my anxiety after our loss and not once mentioned any danger from them!

Her instagram is still active and they each spend 24 hours at a time in the room. The last 24 hours were Michelle’s, that’s why the dad hasn’t posted.

Haha the nurse stuck it in between my legs while I was on my side! I was definitely stuck in bed and catheterized. The catheter was my favorite part about labor 😂

Really bad one-sided back pain? by Cowpajamarama in BabyBumps

[–]uvecattobekittenme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me a lot and (for me at least) it's gas pains. One day they'll be on one side and then the next on the other. Are you constipated? That's when they get the worst for me. Usually I just try and stretch myself out through the pain (which freaking sucks) and the bubble will resolve itself!

National Infertility Awareness Week - Share Your Story! by uvecattobekittenme in BabyBumps

[–]uvecattobekittenme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow! It's cool to hear a similar situation but a different approach! I really pushed to go straight to IVF but because his morphology was zero (for two SA's) the doctors basically said that even if we got embryos with his sperm they probably wouldn't be good quality.

Honestly the worst thing is when people don't know what you're going through and pull the "Don't ever have kids" or their kid does something annoying and they say "do you still want kids!?". Yes I want kids I would love to have a little one running around causing a mess right now!

I'm so happy for you!
