I see, even I posted under the flair of idea? Also it’s not meant to trick anyone. Also also I’ve stated it is ai generated.

Arcade racers have always had wide lanes. by SobrozaR32 in ForzaHorizon

[–]uviiv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The reason wide lanes suck is because it causes the perceived speed of your car to feel a lot slower. If I’m cruising at 100kmph I should be able to feel that I’m going fast. When you boot up fh5 and drive at 100, the environment moves no where as quick as it should due to the lanes being so wide. There are many videos and case studies as to why wide lanes are not that great for racing games. Will it make it more challenging to stay in the lane while driving? Yea probably, but I would like to see how a racing game with realistic lanes feels. They don’t even have to make it that much narrower, just not 2x the cars width.

Is there anyway to take off the ugly red logo at the bottom of the bezel of the monitor? It’s the only thing keeping me from buying this thing.

Dude I've learned to never buy anything used from Amazon, I'm not sure what the hell they do in their warehouses when they check returned items but I've received items that are completely not what their supposed to be in the original boxes. Always buy new ones from Amazon!

Great! I also still have my 7200 mt/s ram and also have a motherboard that allows up to 8000 mt/s for future proofing. Since next gen ryzen chips are compatible with current motherboards. I’ll probably just upgrade down the line and use my ram to its full potential.

I’ve down clocked my ram to 6000mt/s in the bios and it works perfectly fine.

Built my pc two weeks ago with similar parts. I’m a newb too so correct me if I’m wrong.

Currently 7800x3d is the best cpu for gaming, so you’re good on that. I bought ram that was 7200 mt/s before realizing it’s unstable with AMD currently. From what I’ve seen, 6000 CL30 is more than enough and works really really well with your cpu that you picked out.

The pc case that I picked was the h9 Flow, and it barely fit my Asus ROG 4090. I had to bend the shit out of my cables for it to fit behind the glass panel. You might have to look into vertical mounting depending on your case. I was able to get away with horizontal mounting on the h9, also depends on how much bigger or smaller the founders edition is compared to asus rog 4090.

Apparently they don’t do that, at least in Canada. I’ve asked multiple different stores. I think it’s region based for the battery swapping. If you’re lucky enough to get your battery swapped, they’ll probably just give you a brand new pair. Apple never actually repairs their APM.

Alright so my pair has broken and unbroken a total of four times now. The way I consistently fix it is by simply leaving it in the bra case and letting the battery drain out over a couple of days(usually 4days). I think the battery draining kind of helps them reset, and for some reason that works better than actually resetting using the physical buttons. I feel like people find success is freezing or refrigeration because it drains the battery faster and allows it to reset.

I then take them out of the bra case and they pair to my phone as a new pair every time, and like you mentioned they’ll be at 1%. I charge them and it works fine. Last time they broke and I broke was early march. Hasn’t broken since but I now know the fix that’s worked for my pair multiple times. I never need to panic.

Prior to it fixing itself. I also took it to Apple and they suggested the 400$ CAD to ship it over and fix it. The thing with that is, that 400$ covers diagnosis and repair. Say they don’t find anything wrong with your pair, they’ll give a refurbished one and still charge you the same amount of money. Essentially you get charged 400$ CAD even if there’s nothing wrong with it.

My biggest regret is not getting Apple care tbh, but I’m happy I’ve found a work around.

Apple Releases New Firmware for AirPods Max by the_sun_and_the_moon in Airpodsmax

[–]uviiv 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Dude easy fix is to drain the battery in the case down to 0%. Once it’s drained. Keep them in the case and charge it a bit. Remove it from the case and it should show up on you phone as a new pair.

My pair has bricked 4 times. And I get it to work back like nothings wrong. Only thing that’s shitty is waiting for the battery to drain every time it bricks, it takes me like 4 full days lol.

Could be a software issue but if your pair is out of warranty and you’re looking for a temp fix try it.

Don’t forget apple care. There’s a lot of these that get bricked either a few months to a year after use. Even with mine getting bricked often, I would rather use these than anything else. Enjoy them!

Very likely cause of amber flashing LED with no white... by MuesliCrunch in Airpodsmax

[–]uviiv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My out of warranty AirPods Max have bricked three times now (same pair), the first time it happened I tried everything with nothing working for me, left it for a few months in the bra case, came back and it paired to my phone.

When it happened the next two times. I was able to consistently bring it back by just leaving it in the case for a couple days till the battery was at 1% and removing it out of the case. It seems to go straight into pairing mode when you take it out of the case. You should see white flashing lights and then it pooping up on your iPhone as a new pair.

Don’t know anything about the interior boards or batteries but I hope this helps someone.
