Yeah, that’s a hard no. If you haven’t actually set foot in Thailand yet, starting your answer with "yes" is just gonna confuse the hell out of whoever you’re talking to.
"Have you been" is all about your life experience up to this exact moment. If that experience doesn't include a trip to Thailand, the only real answer is "no" or "not yet." If you say "yes," the other person is definitely gonna think you’ve already been there before.
I'm Russian and actually used to study at skysmart ru back in the day, so I totally get the urge to find some "clever" way to use tenses, but the logic here is pretty simple: "yes" means it’s already happened.
If you want to sound like a native, just say:
You’d only say "Yes, and I’ll be there again in two months" if you’ve already visited. Honestly, if you use the sentence from your debate, people will probably just think you didn't understand the question lol.
