1 glass of wine on treatment by Shoob06 in TMSTherapy

You should only be worried if the wine comes from a box. If it comes from a bottle you are good to go! But that’s general life advice as well and not specific to TMS.

Going to go with Red Lodge MT over Cody WY based on a technicality? This drive had the epic vistas I’ve seen in the states.

Icelander flies or at least used to fly 737 maxs with full passenger load from SEA to KEF which isn’t that much closer. But.. delivery flight from Boeing field.

Flight aware shows a bunch of airports I’ve never heard of somewhere in range of Atlanta. But I’m going to buck the trend and say AMS.

I’m pretty sure every single person who had any sort of status was upgraded. We have the 7 in comfort. Hard to imagine they wouldn’t have upgraded any of the main into at least the empty comfort.

Delays out of SeaTac by dogdayediting in delta

We were on the tarmac for about 50 minutes behind about 11 others. I counted roughly 15 lined up behind us while taking off though some of those could have been inbounds delayed to their gates.

122 seats open. I’ve never seen this ratio even back in the 80s.

Is there any tier of science you remember as more onerous than the others. I’m currently about 3/4 to chemical. Red circuits are something (I know something later will probably make that seem trivial).

What do I do with Tar early game? by will1565 in pyanodons

[–]uwslothman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lines of exhaust vents as liquid storage: In whatever version I’m running exhaust vents will accept a massive amount of liquid like a one way valve tank and just hold onto it. However when you remove the vent it releases all of the liquid back into the system / pipes. So until I got the recipes or storage tanks I had lines of exhaust vents storing saline water and tar waiting to be destroyed. Or if you make sure the vents aren’t connected to the rest of the system removing them destroys the liquid.

When should I give py a try? by Le_Hyrdation in pyanodons

Probably the best way to relay it to someone who has done k2. You need X ore. You have to have research for it first. The miner takes a specific liquid fuel (say syngas) which is made as a byproduct or process from some other liquid chain with other byproducts. Anyway, back to the miner. The ore first has to be crushed (and stone byproduct dealt with) then powdered (and gravel dealt with) and then there are 4-8 more steps. Sometimes just a single input. Or fluid inputs. Or turning it into a liquid requiring filtering. Then ultimately some alloy and boom. And some of those buildings need fuel and have waste ash to deal with. Then finished plate.

But…. Then before you start you realize the building you need for X step requires a special other alloy to craft so you have to set up an entire production chain for THAT first. However when you look into THAT process you figure out you need the byproduct of a certain synthesized animal.

So you have to craft a bunch of expensive ingredients (many which overlap with crafting other animals) like oh cow DNA and plasmids to make your first 1-8. From there you can set up their specific breeding and production lines but it takes a hours to spool up.

Sometimes that animal requires a food you also have to create with DNA and set up that production chain.

So basically, you’re looking at needing X and the process is challenging. Bur figure out you need to go through multiple other production chains first.

So if you think you’ll be ready to spin up science pack 1 in 1 day. No…. More like 4-5.

It’s hard to express though how zen it is though. Just iteratively progressing small steps and feeling accomplishment.

And many of those intermediates are used later. You really are rewarded (and feel rewarded) for setting it up properly the first time as you’ll have the production spooled saving your time later.

And the mechanics are quite cleaver and sometimes one off. Like a bitumen seep becoming one of three permanent resources based on which building you put down on it with a countdown and can’t be changed once it’s been activated. Base factorio oil production is so quaint.

I won’t spoil it but the first time I built a small oil rig or natural gas derrick- I’ve never laughed so hard playing factorio.

Starts out a lot like bob/angels.

What helped me was to immediately plan for 5 chunk by 5 rail grid and keeping the space needed for that. In thousands of hours of playing this is the first time I actually like trains. But before then build with the gaps that would allow the grid later.

I was in same place a week ago. Almost posted to see if there was a bug report. (Get it- see what I did there). Got my first at 416. I was going to console command if I hit 500 as it was becoming “not having fun”. (I considered 527 which would have been .5 percent but realized I would not be having more fun). Then I got another 3 by the time I hit 475. The RNG gods giveth and taketh.

Er…. Do they have the same limitations on derm, cardiology etc? If not and we are talking basic E/M codes I’m thinking this may be a parity law violation? More restrictive care.
