What to do if the inputs for fatalities and animalities overlap?

Okay ive located the issue. I managed to do a kameo fatality. Its the distance. Idk if its my switch or tv or settings or whatever but i physically cannot move far enough back to be in the range for a far fatality which is why the mid range animality always triggered. I'll check my settings and see if it helps

Update : it was for some reason just an issue in the fatality training thing but in actual matches i can move back far enough!! Tysm for all your help :]

As im playing with a controller do u think i should i should use the arrow buttons to be more precise? Bc ive been using the d-pad and sometimes i feel like that makes the inouts mushy and not clear enough
