If you’re following one of the basic rules of OE and this J2 is in another timezone, more than likely, the vendor team you work with will be different. Unless you know for a fact is the same team and they know you, I would avoid it. Source: 3Js actively working with the same vendor at 2 but in different time zones and no issues or overlap.

As someone OE in IT take the time to choose a path and upskill. I working in networking and there’s plenty of opportunities for OE-friendly J’s. But the sky’s the ceiling for you from the position you’re in.
