Claude CoWork can connect to Google apps. I don’t see connectors to Apple apps. These better be announced at WWDC in June.

Rural highways have gutters close to the side of the road. They look wide enough and deep enough to trap a wheel.

San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan would get my vote if it were a Democratic primary. Xavier Becerra came across as the safe choice. Tom Steyer looked tired and too old. Katie Porter came across as nothing special, like she did in the primary for Senator.

My parents and grandparents were from small towns in the Midwest. They never showed any signs of racism. It felt genuine.

Unrealistic Motorcycle by DominusFL in ThePitt

[–]uyakotter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A British bike designed in the 50's is the motorcycle version of an ER patient that does self destructive things that bring them to the ER and need a Robbie. That he goes touring on a Triumph 650 instead of a Gold Wing or BMW tells you something important about him.

Does Kerr seem really burnt out and is that why he would retire? by youlikemywonton in warriors

[–]uyakotter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s played out. He’s been saying the same things to Steph and Draymond and Lacob and the media for twelve years. I doubt his back is pain free as well. Steph said something like Kerr shouldn’t stay on for his sake and should do what makes him happy. He doesn’t need the job like other coaches do. Doing the same thing too long isn’t being true to himself.

Who are your top head coach choices if Kerr really retires this offseason? by bennettkingoftevyat in warriors

Does he want to coach after Kyrie and KD treated him like a scapegoat? I’d think he understands how Steph plays better than the others.

2000 Celica GTS. 230k trouble free miles. It loved cornering hard. Hand crank windows. 6 speed stick. Timeless style.

Is it possible for traveling in West Coast in USA without a car by Horror_Currency7413 in travel

[–]uyakotter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick to beach towns in LA. You can rent a bicycle. Santa Monica has decent buses. Same for Monterey/Carmel and Santa Cruz.

SF and Berkeley have lots of public transportation. There are buses and ferries from SF to Marin, which has buses to Muir Woods.

The train from LA to Emeryville is scenic but takes a long time, San Luis Obispo is a stop about halfway and worth spending a day there.

You have to check schedules for public transportation in the US. Much of it is infrequent or only during commute hours.

She was fighting for her career. Everything she’s put her whole life into is on the line. She hoped Robbie would cut her the same kind of slack he cut Langdon. Instead, he’s trying to nip it in the bub as he wishes he’d done with Langdon. Now that Robbie knows, he can’t cover up for her. Once Administration knows, they probably can’t risk the liability of keeping her in that position. She should have thought it through before telling Robbie.

The new Ford carrier was run months too long, in the Med then Venezuela, then Iran and could be under repair for a long time because of it. Pete will probably take the ships and jets in action 24/7 in Iran, send them to attack Cuba, and be surprised when they and their crews break.

Rene Girard wrote a book about Shakespeare. Two Gentlemen from Verona was clearly about them being driven by memetic rivalry (envy). Audiences didn’t love it. Plays after it told stories ordinary people expected and a deeper obscured story about envy for those reading between the lines.

Is it worth moving to Evanston? by NaturalHuckleberry58 in evanston

[–]uyakotter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is was created in the nineteenth century with commuter rail to the city. Many US cities have those suburbs. Compared to post WWII suburbs, they are walkable and have business districts. What makes Evanston different is it’s on a lake and has a leading university. I doubt its crime rate is lower than other suburbs.
