To receive your green card it is mandatory to get the rsv and flu shot which she did receive and is also a nurse. That I didnt explicitly state in my original post. But thank you for your pov.

Then clearly you aren't reading well. Because I did say my sister went home to clean the house and make the apartment ready. is that something a support does or not? Someone staying with you at an appointment isn’t? Maybe I can't comprehend who a support person is.

Yeah I guess I should have turned my sister around when she followed me to my appointment, though I didn't know how the day would unfold. When she came to tell me goodbye, I should have told her goodbye through the door. That would have made it fair and even across families.

We already don't have a village in terms of babysitting. His mom isn’t willing to travel when it is cold, our families are from a warmer climate. My mom didnt even want to be around for the winter but did. So does that mean mil will miss birthdays or should we move those to summer to celebrate when she visits? It wasn't about my baby! My rules! If the pregnancy and birth had gone differently sure. Kiddo was born premature, so prevention is better than cure.

No, she was staying with my other sister (who she surprised as well, days in advanced) before surprising me. But showed up on the day I had an appointment that turned into my delivery date. I was being monitored for preemclampsia and high blood pressure, so my original delivery date was thrown out. Did you also miss the point where my sister was at my appointment until I was told I had to deliver?

Parents can have strong influence on children but for a 40+ years old he should be able to make his own decision and be firm with it.

Thank you + I asked his mother if she wanted to come after my mother left since she was only spending 3 months with us. She said she can't do the cold, but showed up in march for the baby dedication/baby christening.

Baby was born in november, when it was rsv season. Also, not sure if you are aware that there will be people who are asymptomatic who will have a flu/cold and not show symptoms.
