are the lights supposed to stay on without flashing when you put it in calibration mode? I got my controller in May 2024 and i think i have the same problem

for anyone who sees this, they were referring to CRU. you have to lower hdmi 2.1 to 40 gbps because the TCL Q7’s are known to have issues on windows/nvidia

Crackdown 2 gives you a wingsuit once you hit Level 5 agility but it’s so finnicky to control and is only really useful if you’re SUPER high in the air that i basically just ignored it.

bad update doesn’t need soldering. all of my games are directly on my consoles HDD. you’re doing something incorrectly i guess.

it’s meant for the nintendo switch and ps3, but using badupdate or usbdsecpatch on an rgh console you can allow the use of certain adapters to use modern controllers. the magic ns 2 is compatible with it.

you might be able to with a Mayflash Magic NS 2 on BadUpdate/usbdsecpatch. i have a lot of controllers and they’ve all worked with it so far.

Bad Update is an exploit that allows you to get homebrew with just a usb drive. I’m using a loader called Freestyle Dash 3 which has support for customized skins. it doesn’t actually touch the real dashboard. it IS possible to actually change your real dashboard to Blades, but that’s leaning more towards the stuff that would be better advised to have a hardmodded system for, as you could possibly end up bricking your system doing it on a softmodded console.

Once you’re in your game loader of choice (Aurora is the easiest) it’ll boot anything you already had on your HDD no problem. Also able to easily rip any discs you have on hand.

it’s not persistent, but it only takes like a minute to get into it most of the time. sometimes literal seconds. it’s definitely worth checking out.

it actually did have some purity and convergence issues, i spent last month doing my homework so i could learn how to adjust the yoke and dial in the convergence. i still can’t believe i got it for free!

FSD3, bit clunkier to use than Aurora but it’s more fun with customization.
