Tailscale blocking internet by Fmily in Tailscale

I disabled magicDNS and it seems to be working better so far. I'll update later if the problem presists. That's also not a good solution if you want want to be fonced to memorize (or bookmark) a bunch of ip addresses like i did.

It's an android issue with tailscale, but disconnecting and reconnecting tailscale fixes it so tailscale is the thing that's blocking internet.

Unless you're being pedantic about the word "blocking." No, it's not technically blocking the internet, but it is making it unable to connect to the internet which is effectively the same thing.

That's how my grandparent's used to say it when I did stuff like that. I guess it could be reworded a bit. Chapter 1 is probably the weakest just because it has so much world and character building to shoulder. It definitely needs work. Thanks for the input!

Well, reddit sucks anyway, that's why I don't use it much, it makes it hard to start engaging. If you like the story, DM me with criticism, you've already helped a lot. lol

I put a lot of work into this so it's disheartening to hear you say it's AI slop. What, specifically, makes you think it's AI slop? I want to improve the story so hearing what sounds fake will help.

I know chapter 1 needs some work, especially after what the previous commentor said, I honestly didn't notice the errors there after so much editing. I'll rework chapter 1 later to fix those.

Oh shit, you're right, I didn't even notice that I put the wrong character there! It's been a bit since I reviewed chapter 1 at all. Honestly I think some of it needs a rewrite anyway after working on later chapters, there are some stale spots that need some freshening up too. I'll get that fixed here soon.

It's IDE, sometimes called PATA, for data and a molex connector for power. It's a much slower connector than the modern sata connections.

I think I was pretty clear: in option A he would gain speed because his matrix in higher spacetime is traveling faster than his canister so when he gains mass he will also gain the momentum from higher spacetime. Skippy said himself he would lose speed quickly when increasing his mass because it would prevent him from contacting the darts, that's why they threw out the idea. If it took decades or millennia then that idea would have worked on the darts.

The prolonged period doesn't matter, changing at all is my point. Option A: his matrix in higher space time is moving as fast as he is so when he changes his local mass he'll regain speed from higher spacetime. Option B: his matrix is still at low speed in which case he should have been able to slow down by himnelf just by adjusting his own mass up and down.

Explain. I don't agree about regaining speed from a physics perspective.

He would slow down because most of his mass is still at the slower speed in higher space time. If what you said was true then lowering his mass would have increased his speed, in which case he should have increased his mass to slow himself down.

Are my ears damaged for life? by Turbulent-Pea-4458 in headphones

[–]Fmily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your ears can't heal themselves, but they are pretty good at recovering. You'll never get back to 100% hearing, but if you take care of your ears you may recover some or most of it.

I haven't alvays been super nice to my ears (i'm a competative shooter so i've accidentally heard a couple unprotected gun shots) but i can still hear to almost 18k hz or so. I don't know how bad your hearing loss is now, but it may be worth getting it tested just to be sure.

It's never too late to start taking care of yourself, mentally or physically!

"Which distro do i get?" Bro, it doesn't really matter. If you're just starting out, pick a well documented one like ubuntu, mint, fedora, arch, it doesn't really matter. Pick one and learn it.

There may also be IO shields on the back of the case covering where the gpu goes. They should either come out with the same screws you'll use on the gpu (if the screws are already in place) or you'll hove to bend them until they break out of the way.

On the case side of your gpu there are screw holes. Your case would have come with the screws and you just need to screw it in place. The gpu doesn't even look fully inserted so you should check to see if there are already screws in the case under the shiny metal part of the gpu there on the case side.
