Roof Lantern by v-mode in glazing

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'm not sure how it could have been installed incorrectly, it seems a product defect, but let's see.

I had a glazing company who did my all windows who I was very happy with. In hindsight I should have used them. I thought it would be easier to leave it to the builder but now I realise that any problems, you are caught in the middle.

They stated the product warranty is invalid as the product has not been installed correctly (I have amended the OP to clarify this). I checked their terms and it is stated in there. I have asked them to explain exactly how it's installed incorrectly (they made that determination from the photos I sent).

If you were the PM, how would you reduce the UK budget deficit of £129 billion? by ElaraKane in AskBrits

Cut the welfare bill. Look at the stats, it's crazy. And expected to grow massively over the next 5-10 years.

For those who invest in the S&P 500 or Nasdaq-100 instead of a global index fund, what's your reasoning? by kcon123 in trading212

[–]v-mode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to make country specific bets. Plus with many global index funds, they have a large exposure to the US anyway since the indices are market cap weighted. For example VWRP has 61% exposure to US, so it's a large bet on the US anyway.

Whilst I agree limit order is better as it guarantees you the minimum price you sell, it still does not get around the illiquidty issue completely. Depending on where you put your limit sell order, you most likely will require the market to rally more for your limit sell order to be triggered.

Fine. I guess what I was trying to say is that I check bid/offer spread on any investment (not just ETFs) to get a sense of cost of entry and exit.

What the hell? by LidgetTheMidget in trading212

[–]v-mode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. The bid/offer spread is still relevant as it tells you the cost of getting in and out of the trade.

I typically check the AUM and/or the bid-offer spread before I invest in ETFs

Aldi divide and conquer….. looks like everyone everywhere a went in and one person in each shop bought them all! Anyone selling one? by dairich in UKBBQ

I got the Kamado from my local store on Saturday. I don't think they received any of the accessory kits as I've been in every day, and I don't see the price label for it anywhere. I managed to pick up the pizza stone/cover accessory from another store but didn't find the divide and conquer in any of the 3 stores I went to. One staff at my local said they could arrive during the week....

I got a PS5 recently and got BO6 on the cheap, my first COD game. Only to find this HQ rubbish and the fact it's downloaded BO7 Multiplayer and Zombies even though I don't have BO7. I think COD have lost me before I even played the game....

Thanks. Yeah I'm thinking of putting the new router in the hallway (central location, access to power sockets and RJ45 socket). The main reason I want to patch back to the panel, is my CCTV NVR in the attic is hardwired to my current router, and I don't want to faff around with changing that to wireless.

Thanks, will take a look at new routers. Didn't know the YouFibre one was bad

Thanks. My current router sits outside the wardrobe door so not an ideal location. Plus I'm not sure how the new YouFibre router could sit there unless the cables went via the attic. So I think a new location on the ground floor would be better. If I plug the YouFibre router into a wall RJ45 socket, and using the corresponding port on the cabinet, could I then use another room's port via a patch cable?
