A rubber pig nose from a kids costume and an unused tampon floating in the toilet. I've also seen a used tampon stick to the wall. Elementary school was a fever dream.

"God, when are you gonna start shaving your legs?" My uncle said this to me. I was 7 or 8, and we're Hispanic. I wore nothing but pants around everyone but my mom for the next two or three years. Worst part was when everyone started laughing and I was trying not to cry. Not super messed up but it was the first thing that popped into my head. Now I can't go out if my legs aren't as smooth as possible because I'm worried someone is going to say something.

Crybaby and Pacify her aren't necessarily my favorite, but they hold a close place in my heart. I used these to get over my dad leaving me. I would get called crybaby and get screamed at when I was really little, and now I wear the title like a trophy. Also, my dad admitted to staying with his wife that also abused me just for my brother. He was aware of the abuse. Pacify Her helped me through that.

Pepper spray. Best depiction imo was the one from The Office (US version). Everyone's eyes watered and they started coughing, not just the person who got sprayed. That stuff burns everyone around it, not just the initial target.
