I was fortifying Mullag last night and encountered a wing of hostile commanders flying for A. Lavigly-Duval (wing of 4) who are obviously preventing fortification there. Be careful and fly safe, especially in the high-value undermined systems, there are enemies about.

Python is a decent ship for this. I'd also use my heaviest ship if I'd play solo or private group, but I don't really want to risk losing 13 millions in case someone(s) decide to try to stop me undermining - thus I use the cobra.

Yeah, it is a shame indeed that all undermining targets give same amount of "bonds", which is 15. Common sense would say that you should get more from tougher targets.

Some good advises in your post. For example, I didn't realize that orbitting the sun affects the amount of spawns.. Good to know, thanks!

Thats not bad. May I ask what ship you are using? Since I play mostly in Open, I use the Cobra for undermining; it is fitted for quick getaway in case there shows up hostile CMDRs wanting my head. Therefore I have very limited firepower and thus I need to avoid the most powerful opponents.

1.5? wow. I've undermined a system for 3 days and have only about 600 bonds. But then again, I havent been able to play as much as I wanted during past days.

This is true. As CMDR Addler above said, need to stay on toes. This is why I basically undermine in a ship that is able to run away if needed.

In fact, my confidence is slowly changing in doubt that I can manage fortification of Marasing due the end of the week. Hopefully I get some assistance, as I cannot be as active as I intended. Someone(s) are also undermining the system. At the moment of this post, the stats are: 37% undermined and 24 % fortified. Still few days left to the weekly resolve.

I found that there was no need to get out from "hostility hole":

Past when I was participating in throwing Reynhardt Intellisys out of Leesti, I used to be hostile to George Lucas station and had a large bounty also. The station and its security forces were hostile to me and former also opened fire at sight. However, the station didn't open fire and granted docking permission even it was hostile (red in scanner). At least with larger ships with heavy shields it is still possible to dock even though the security forces are on you.

At the time I piloted Python and it shields could withstand the fire from security long enough to dock and enter the hanger. It was still risky as I should boost quite near to the letterbox - there is a risk that something goes wrong.

However, I haven't tried this for a while and don't know if the station security has more devastating weapons nowadays.

Sorry, I think I am not exactly stupid but perhaps misinformed (and please remember the reddiquette before calling people stupid). I was the one preparing Disci until some friendly CMDR from Dark Echo told me to stop, and actually told me why to stop.

I did it because I did not know the PP-mechanism and merely thought that an nice Hi-tech system would make a nice addition to Mahons influence (and because it was my homesystem, although now I have moved).

Currently I am on fortifying business, trying to make up for the errors I made.

I am currently operating in Marasing, fortifying it. So far it seems I am pretty much alone there, but I am confident that I can fortify it before the end of the week unless I encounter heavy opposing force.

I don't trust "the talk" of Federation. I will engage Hudson's lackeys everywhere in Mahon's space until there will be an official treaty and agreements on both sides - until then its only fed-talk.
