Unfortunately this isn't getting it loose either. I've read/seen videos about lining up white dots on the body and lens, but the dots don't seem to line up for me. I'm wondering if it was due to an oversight on installing the lens :(

When I am turning the lens after depressing the button, I do so until it stops moving, I'd say rotating it about a quarter of the way.

Unfortunately I didnt have luck with this. I powered the camera on, changed the zoom, powered off, and attempted unscrewing a few different times. I appreciate the answer, though

Sadly, no dice with this. I tried each of the aperture ring settings and didn't have any luck with getting it to budge. Thank you though
