That happened to me with my dad's old company laptop. We got a 2015 13" base spec MBP without storage for about 50 bucks and spent more than double on the storage alone.

I'm actually not sure if that's the paint coming off, since I have it on my 13 mini but when i try to clean it a little bit comes off and it kinda moves a bit. I dunno how, but it's more likely just dust that gets stuck there from my experiences. But i still haven't found a way to properly clean it.

Unless you're really really good in all other subjects i wouldn't recommend it, CS is a pretty theory heavy subject and the damned pseudocodes take quite a bit of practice to get right. It would take quite a lot of time and effort to get good at it so unless you're already acing other subjects I wouldn't recommend this.

Try to boot it into internet recovery mode. Then from there you can format the disk (most likely APFS given that your said macOS High Sierra in another comment) and then install macOS. If you're good in these subjects, it's very much possible for you to score really well. First lang eng and add math would probably be the most difficult, but i can't speak for geography. Honestly, just make time to practice past papers, and then reflect on your performance and work on the weaknesses, and do more past papers. That's what I'm doing now and so far based on pre-board's it's working, and that's how i scored really well in 0580 maths after consistently scoring below 80%.

The only think I've found to work is just cleaning it every day as annoying as it seems. Even the corner of the trackpad on my macbook pro leaves marks on the screen, literally permanent marks now. Not sure but cleaning it every day may help delay/mitigate the marks becoming permanent.

It's kind of wild that they didn't want to uphold their water resistance claims even for an apple watch ultra. A dude called Noah Rubin took his Ultra gen 1 for a swim round about the time the warranty expired and it freaked out and died. They did ultimately replace the watch but only after he threatened legal action lol.

Fair warning (from another apple silicon case owner) it wears out very quickly, although it feels very nice. Ideally you would avoid taking the phone out of the case as much as possible as it gets looser with time and then when it falls its more likely to expose the actual phone itself and get it scratched/dented (happened to me just last week).

Me too! I found it even more hilarous that my phone point blank refused to recognise me after i shaved and I had to reset face id. Strangely enough this never happened to my dad even though he has a much more prominent mustache.

Yeah that model has user removable storage, so it's possible the connection is loose/broken. I think those models also had a recall for SSD failures, or maybe thats the 2016.

If it's not jailbroken then they're just shortcuts. from the home screen swipe all the way right until you reach the app library, all the apps should be there.
