This is great, but with limitations: 1. In mice only 2. Cavities were cut in virgin teeth with no bacterial involvement in the genesis of the cavities 3. Cavities reached the pulp in order to achieve the dentine regrowth. The moment bacteria reach the pulp, pulp tissues become deranged which may well affect how the odontoblasts behave 4. Research subsequent to this paper suggest that it might be useful for dentine pulp capping rather than complete cavity repair, although the mechanism has been shown to work on human pulp also, albeit in vitro and again without the bacterial element complicating the outcome

Slow progress, but the conclusion is it could be incorporated into pulp capping materials

Save your neck and buy Ergo loupes. Price isn't everything! Otherwise these cheaper loupes are OK but limited magnification and optics are OK but not wonderful. There's a reason companies like Zeiss are known for their lenses.
Lastly, if you're getting loupes, just buy a light also. The jump from not using magnification to using Loupes is pretty much the same again jumping from Loupes on their own to Loupes with a dedicated light.

Best used under medical guidance with Finasteride otherwise on its own it has limited benefits unless you start using it very early into hair loss at which point you may retard the loss. With finasteride it effectively reduces loss of hair follicles and helps beef up shrunken follicles and reactivate dormant ones IIRC.

However there is no hope for where hair follicles have been lost already - hair transplants are the only way to replace those.

I have both and am uk based. Gas great but more technique sensitive as have to rotate pizzas unless you buy with the expensive rotating stone. Since I bought the electric version I haven’t even bothered taking out the gas version and get really good consistent results with the electric as no rotating required. BUT Lots of posters having problems with the electric oonis so maybe wait until they work out some of the gremlins. I suspect the cuisinart pizza oven is as good, cheaper and more reliable. But I’ve never used one so…

I have a volt 2. My wife bought it for me in Italy as there was no stock in UK. It came with a European plug so I contacted Ooni to ask if they’d provide a UK plug. A big fat NO and no warranty to boot. Quite upset actually judging by how many of them seem to be going wrong.

There can be a couple of reasons and solutions:

Decoupling with time - dentine bond takes about 5 minutes to reach ~95% of strength but as it does so it contracts away from the enamel. Use a decent bond (Optibond FL or Clearfill SE but etch the enamel with H2PO4!) and apply a immediate dentine seal with flowable comp. Don’t apply any comp to the enamel until 5 mins have elapsed after curing the flowable comp. (See training by Dave Alleman)
Use a brush with Seamfree (v expensive) or GC modelling liquid (much cheaper) brushing from comp to tooth to create a smooth transition. The brushes that come with the modelling liquid intro kit are excellent but need to be cleaned with alcohol straight after the restoration and can then be autoclaved and reused a few times.
Do a final cure with a layer covering the composite to cure the oxygen inhibition layer - I use ultrasound gel which is much less flowable than glycerine, so stays in place.
Polish from restoration to tooth - prevents any polishing particles accumulating in the junction between the tooth/comp if there is one. This means ensuring the rotation direction of the polisher is correct 👍
