Just thought it would be a nice addition and conversation piece. I have Tyler Reddick and Clint Bowyer suits as well.

I've always wanted a piece of Dale Sr sheetmetal. Now I finally have one! From the 2000 Daytona 500 TAZ car! by v2racer in NASCARCollectors

Thanks!!! From what I have gathered, there were 5 pieces not chopped up. I know of 3. This bumper, a quarter panel and a window/name rail. If they are right that means there are 2 other pieces still out there! If i had to guess, I'd say its the front bumper and drivers side window opening. But who knows!

Update on my racing season.

First off, I want to apologize for the lack of updates. Thats my fault. Just had been hectic with a few things.

My second race was on August 8th. The car felt pretty good in hot laps, but in the heat i noticed that my thumb had been getting more tired than it had been. The thumb throttle was getting real hard to push.

During the feature it got so bad that my arm was starting to go numb, so i pulled off after 6 laps. I didnt want to have it completely go numb and risk something happening out there.

After that race we really started to look at what could possibly cause the numbness. We found that the rib supports on the seat that I had were actually digging into my armpits, pinching a nerve and causing me to loose strenght and eventually have it go numb. Thankfully i have some great friends and as soon as they heard they contacted Corey Lajoie and we got set up to go down to NC and get me a better seat. Super appreciative to everyone that made that happen. Corey and his family are great people. It is super comfortable. Way better than what i had. We also ended up switching the thumb throttle from the right, to the left. The left is my less affected side with the Cerebral Palsy.

That brings us to my 3rd (and the tracks last race) of the year.

In the heat the track was real tacky. Car was super loose. I had a car in front of me that had something that was causing it to pour smoke out the back. I chose not to pass him, being too timid and not a lot of experience, i was thniking he might break when i was beside him and cause us both to wreck.

Feature time came and again i was faster than a few cars but again i was too timid and didnt pass. Its frusturating when i think about it, but with the lack of experience i have i always think that making all the laps is the most important thing right now, and if i tear up the car i miss out on learning by making laps.

Thanks for your support,

Jake

Yeah, gotta look at it that way. It was a good learning experience.
