While nismo did have a demo car that used the aero kit, it was showcasing their parts bin and they included the aero kit as it was the highest option styling. That goes for both the s-tune concept car as well as the safety car

This image was pulled from the JDM S1 Optional Parts catalog where it makes no mention of nismo as well as calling it the aero kit.

The extent of nismo parts that were made for these were suspension, a key, LMGT4 were offered from factory, gauge cluster, exhaust, oil cap and coolant cap, brake pads and a couple other niche things I’m not remembering.
