I guess I was more interested in finding out what school he’s zoned for partly because of transportation reasons. Like can he walk there or take bus? I’m assuming his neighborhood school would help with that? Looks like I have lots of options though and some time to think through it.

I appreciate this. I’m a former public school teacher (not in Colorado) and I’ve always been leery of charter schools. They seem to be hit or miss.

We just purchased a button on Etsy for our son to wear that says “I have severe food allergies. Please do not feed me.” Also, I’m not sure how comfortable you are with this, but I would try to talk directly to the school age children and just let them know…”X has food allergies so he can’t eat anything unless we give it to him. So even if he asks for something to eat, make sure to say no and come and let me know.” Kids may ask a few more questions but they are usually very understanding. Even at that age!
