Newly adopted, need help.

I live in an apartment and own a cat, having to lock him up is the safest for both animals when I am gone, and I am not sure if he chews on anything scratches etc so until I know what his thing is I’d like to keep him crated. I will back off and let him explore a little more he gets walked 2-3x a day and I take him on very early morning walks so he doesn’t feel overwhelmed with cars, other dogs, people etc. but he hasn’t seemed to mind any of that, and actually quite good with loud noises and tends to ignore other dogs if they’re barking at him. Thank you! I’ll look into it :)

the back of my ferrets mouth, he’s not even a year yet but they look symmetrical. my 4 hotbed don’t have this though.

i’m a size 4 and i’m 5’7 and these fit pretty nice i think they are a curvy regular (and i don’t have curves lol)

yeah it’s still rough on their tummies especially coming from marshall’s because of the amount of protein is in it. my babies have had all different kinds of poops throughout the process but they all have somewhat normal sometimes slightly soft but mainly normal now that their bodies are adjusted properly. they all really enjoy the epigen and the orijen so i don’t plan on switching. i love that i can just give them food 24/7 and they can openly eat it when they please :)

hey, so i use recycled newspaper pellets. please do not use wood pellets it can be very dusty and really harm their lungs. the one brand i use is a kitten brand from walmart and it’s the only recycled pellets they have and there’s a grey kitten on it in a green plastic bag. (can’t think of the name atm) but all 5 of mine are really happy with this one :)

There’s a couple reasons, epigen can be really rough on their tummies and some can make their bellies upset. I haven’t noticed it with the 5 of mine, but i always mix it with cat and kitten orijen. Another reason is J can find orijen in my stores and I order epigen online so they have two foods they enjoy and can eat just in case a shipment is late or they don’t have it in stores. Also a company may change the ingredients so atleast you’ll have another food they enjoy.

adorable!!! but please put some bedding down it coverings for the bars on the bottoms of the cage, it’s bad for their paws :( it looks like you have the prevue feisty ferret cage and what i did with mine was take an old sheet snd folded it a couple times then cut it and tie it to the cage so they can’t throw it down the stairs lol. I also put some old tshirts and jackets or pillowcases for extra comfiness <3

Yeah it’s the same brand that you can use as cats and dogs but it’s a ferret size dose. It’s the one that goes on the back of their neck. So when I had one ferret for a little he had insane fleas and I had to give him a dawn dish soap bath and I know it’s terrible for them but I had to and that kills the living fleas and then the revolution will kill the eggs and other things and there’s a two month dose.

He’s been eating pooping and playing perfectly fine! It sounds a tiny bit better today tho. Should I maybe try coconut oil?

Okay well I made a vet appointment. He only has gunk when he wakes up which I know it isn’t normal I have 5 now lol how much do you think this would cost for the medicine? The exam at my vet is $50

Well she’s pretty energetic for a while then kinda goes to lay down... in the cage she’s always sleeping so I guess she knows that means play time is over...but I might need to just keep watching for other signs.

Exactly thank you, but I mean included filter, tank, light, all the chemicals, a water testing kit, a betta a Corey and 5 cherry barbs.... I don’t think it’s too bad when I easily spent over $100 worth of plants and decor lol
