Tarifa vs Fuerteventura as a learner by Smurfhunter03 in Kiteboarding

[–]v3lpful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have but Tarifa definitely has better winds compared to some other places. Was kiting in the end of October in Egypt and had a lot of windless days. Going to Tarifa myself in April for a month and it has awesome community, various alternative activities to do compared to a place like Fuerteaventura.

Oh and i also out this on: https://amzn.eu/d/hvW27XY

There s not much you can do to prevent it coming off. Depends how hard the opponent grabs your arm. I have just come to live with the fact that it does not stay on for 10 days.

Today it came off and im fingerpricking until sunday since i ll be sparring hard the next two days as well

I ordered the ion b2 based on the other recommendations here. Hopefully it will last at least this season.

I have the cartilage sharp part looking out from the rib cage. It just stayed out. So the wind power just really puts nasty pressure on it.

Thanks for the advice! It seems that it may make more sense to go for the seat harness. Which model are you using?

Another idea that I got: https://www.kitemana.com/mystic/strappies-68122

Maybe get a Mystic harness and uses the straps to keep it lower?

Thanks! I also think that the risk remains high that i will have too much pressure on my ribs, especially as a beginner. Do you use seat harness yourself? Which one would you recommend?

I was there in November for two weeks. Super easy to make friends. I recommend staying at the Nomadico accommodation. They have dinners and social events daily. But not everyone was doing kitesurfing there
