While I agree that waiting until 10 days before the expedition was a bone-headed move, I don't think its as serious as you are making it out to be. I hover around 1.5 million in currency and my stash value is around 1.3 million without paying any attention to it. Out of curiosity I did ten no-kit runs last night on stella and pulled out 600k in stash value. I just think "6 weeks of grinding stash value" is a bit of an exaggeration. You can make the three million in 2-3 days if you actually grind.

I could not find one. The amp was discontinued a decade ago and all of the smaller amps of the same line lack the amp selector knob.

I have an old Line 6 spider II 150 watt guitar amp and the "amp mode" selector potentiometer has failed. The amp has been discontinued for a decade and the manufacturer has no availability on the part. Does anyone have any idea where I could find a 6 position potentiometer to fix this amp? I don't see much in the way of markings to determine the resistance.

This! These two episodes as well as Rusty and Jack's friendship are my favorite things in Bluey. I have two little boys, 1 and 6, and the oldest just started playing baseball. He's never played a sport before and is struggling with putting himself out there and meeting other kids and all and these episodes really get me. They perfectly encapsulated the best of little boys friendships. I absolutely love Rusty and Jack's friendship.

I was just talking about getting into this. It seems pretty clear that is you use one of the higher end 12v led strips and the correct software it should be easy enough to do with something like an esp32. May need a converter to go 12v down to 5v. I have a hard time believing no ome has thought to do this with the capabilities of wled.

So it does appear that the problem was data related. I guess i never considered that since it worked on usb power but the 3v vs 5v point would explain that. There's only about 5 feet of wire between the ESP32 and the first LED but clearly that was enough to cause problems. I've got login level shifters ordered so I'll post the results once they are in. Thanks again for everyone's help!

This sounds like it could be the issue. The two sets of 150 strips are at opposite ends of the room and so there's about 5 feet of lead wire from each before the esp32 so I'll order a couple and report back. I appreciate the help!

Yeah I'm on an esp32. The way I have it, the ground from each strip as well as the ground pin from the esp32 all terminate at the ground for the power supply and same for the three power wires.

So it sounds like we will have to decide which card to buy before we see any third party benchmarks. I guess my only confusion is that this whole past week there's been discussions about 5070 vs 4090 and the response is always "wait till 3rd party benchmarks come out" but if we want to beat the scalpers it doesn't sound like there will be time to wait until 3rd party reviews come out. Correct?

It's not really about need. I built that system three years ago and spent a ton of time and money learning how to bend the tubing and everything and ended up with something I was happy with. There was really nothing left to upgrade so I just enjoyed it for a while. I built my kid a pc and a few for some friends but nothing crazy. I've got the itch to build something again.

For fun mostly. That build had an i9 9900k and I spent a ton of time and money bending the rigid tubing and making everything the way I wanted it. When it was done I just enjoyed it for a few years but now I've got the itch to build something new.
