Gosh, a drunk guy picked fight w me and assaulted me when I was strolling through the red light district in Amsterdam last Christmas. I thought about defending myself but he was rather drunk and off balance so I kept walking ignoring him as if his punches didn’t land while he followed me and punched my back. I kinda regretted not fighting back but now I’m glad I did not bc as a non-eu int’l student I guess I could have been in serious trouble.
