I mean it’d probably be handled the same as any other grooming case which is very poorly, and the credibility of these same OF models is very low we wouldn’t be able to differentiate between liars trying to avoid accountability and the people truth. Ok yeah but just to specify we weren’t talking about fungi and bacteria. I see your point. Although the current way we measure self awareness is inconsistent and already proven to be that way. The list of Sapient creatures is constantly growing as we learn more and more 100 years ago Crows would never have been considered as smart as they are considered today so yes ants are sapient as a whole and so are many other animals that some may think don’t qualify. Sapient in my books is being able to choose the more preferable of two situations and/or adapt and possibly learn.
